The fact I found this video just a few days after ordering my EHB1005MS is awesome. Your playing is so solid, really inspiring! Thanks for uploading this, I'm going to have the best time trying to learn this :)
Great choice with the bass and glad you like the video :) have fun playing this song yourself! ☺
Incredible cover! Absolutely love the solo part 🔥
Thanks a lot!
Alles on point 👌👌⚔
Incredible!!! I love your tone and style
Thank you so much!!
Great work!
Thank you so much! appreciate it 🙏
BANGER 🙌🏻
Yes! 😁
Amazing ton and amazing skills 🤘
Thanks!
Awesome cover! You have an impressive collection of basses btw!
Hey, thanks!
That solo part tho!❤🔥
Thanks! 😊
Killer job! Nice tone also
Thank you! Glad you like it
Well done \m/
Thanks! :)
Accurate playing with great tone. My only criticism is the song simply doesn't sound the same if you don't tap your chest when singing ``I'm here..." xD
Thanks! The criticism is probably right ^^ damn me for being too focused on playing the song 😄
Great cover, Awesome tone! I actually just got the same bass (1265ms) what are you using for distortion? Darkglass X or like an alpha omega?
Thanks! And congrats on your bass 😄
When recording a cover I usually use the neural dsp plugins (like in this video), but when playing with a pedalboard I use the Darkglass X7 :)
So sick!!! I'm glad I discovered your channel! I'm considerig buying a bass for low tunings like drop G#/F# - what string gauges should I look for and is it a better idea to tune to drop G# and then pitchshift those two semitones lower for drop F#?
Thanks dude! String gauge also depends on the scale length of your bass. In this case I have 33-35" while using a 45-135 string set. Wouldn't go any lower than G# with this setup. If you use thicker strings or pitch shift down to get to F# is really personal preference. I'd go with the pitch shifter, but that's only because playing thicker strings isn't that much fun for me.
Came to admire that beautiful bass guitar, love the playing especially the plucking hand, are you using 3 fingers?
Thanks! Yes, I use three fingers for some parts where it's easier to play this way! :)
This is awesome! I recently started playing bass again. And picked up this same model loving it so far.
Do you feel the need to swap the pickups? This is the best I’ve heard them sound in a video btw.
Thanks! Happy to hear that you started playing again!
The PUs are not my first choice PUs, but that's just personal preference. Took me ages to finally get the tone I wanted. Pretty sure I'm going to replace them in the near future :)
@@paularrr That's a gnarly tone you've dialed in with those Bartolinis!
super nice und mega fancy! wann kommt eine Tesseract Nummer ? ^^
Danke! Puh gleich Tesseract :D
Dope cover! Do you have the tabs by chance?
Tahnk you! I just updated the description of this video - you can find a link with the tabs there :) have fun playing this yourself!
Awesome cover! What string gauges you use?
Thanks! This one is with 45-135
Hi. How much the bass weights? I heard that this model is heavier (~4,5kg).
I don't know the exact weight, but compared to my ibanez k5 it's pretty similar I'd say.
what strings are you using for that bass?
What gauge did you use for the low G#?
I'm using a 135-45 setup for this tuning. It works fine with the 35" multiscale. Wouldn't go any deeper with it though.
@@paularrr Awesome, I appreciate the reply! I was eyeing down the bass and wasn't sure if it would be able to handle it. Thanks!
Do You recommend buying This bass against a similar price from other companies? :) Hope You can answer.
That's a tough question! Looking at different basses in the same price range always comes with the question what you're looking for and what you're comfortable with. I do own two basses in this price range and I love them both. If you'd ask me which one I prefer the answer might differ from time to time, because they have a different feeling but are both great and fun to play. If you'd question if the price is reasonable for what you get, I'd say yes.
i have that bass myself
it's a good one! hope you enjoy it as much as i do :)
