Ps, with our daughter visiting (another of your frequent commenters) the only downside to your trip is a selfish one. No chance of a Kurt and Sara sighting while she’s in town! It’s a bit of a fun game for us! Oh well…..we will just have to keep her longer!
Oh no! Hope you guys had (or are) having a nice visit? Thank you to all of you for being such strong supporters of our channel! We really appreciate it :)
I loved Sarasota and Siesta Key. I will have to visit Venice, Fl too! Food looks delicious and the Gulf looks amazing! You guys should get a travel trailer/camper and travel with Saba. So much to discover and experience! Thanks for the video!
So happy you like those places too, Ali. We had such a great time and would LOVE to travel the country with Saba and see Everything, lol! It's a goal of ours for sure... Thanks for watching and have a great day :)
It looks like an awesome place to visit. I love the part when Saba’s in the stroller. You pass a dog on the ground that looks totally jealous of Saba’s sweet ride!
It looks nice there but I would rather live in the mountains any day. I'm not a beach person really. Id rather hike in the woods and mountains than spend the day at a beach. I'm glad you're having a good time!
Awesome guys! Glad you got away from the cold for a while and are enjoying the warmth with Saba. I'm just across from you on the Florida east coast (Ormond Beach). The water is definitely cold during these months, but like bath water in the summer. Enjoy your stay!!!
Thanks so much buddy, we had a great time in your state! The water might have been cold but we loved that warm weather, lol. How do you like Ormond Beach? We need to explore the east coast next time. Thanks for watching and enjoy that Florida weather :)
@@KurtandSara Ormond Beach is a very nice, upscale small city, but getting very crowded, along with the whole Daytona area. More people than the roads can handle. I have been here 33 years now, after moving from N.J. and I just feel I need a change now to a simpler, quieter lifestyle in the Smoky Mountains. I will put my house up for sale sometime in the next year and likely buy something in the Waynesville area, but I haven't ruled out the Flat Rock/ Hendersonville area either. I wanted to thank you both for your vlogs because they have reinforced my feelings about being up there. Hard to explain but I feel like that's where I'm meant to be...
We spent a month on Venice Island in late 2021. The water was cold, but we walked every day along the beach taking up the earth's magnetic field into our bare feet. It was so rejuvenating. We came up with the idea to move to Venice. Not an original thought lol!
@@KurtandSara where you live now is gorgeous in its own way, too. Just have to ask yourself, could you transfer your jobs or careers and make a living in Venice? We are retired and on a fixed income. But it is possible!
How is red tide? I heard it smelled horrible, dead fish in the ocean, and make you sick by getting near the beach. I just came from another TH-camr saying that. lol.
There was no red tide when we were there and everything was perfectly fine. We've been there before (summer 2021) and also had no red tide. We always look before planning our trips because we have heard that it can be pretty bad. Hope this helps!
Oh yeah!! Gulf side is the Best Side!! The Color!!
You got that right, buddy! We love the Gulf Coast!!
The bakery in downtown Venice has the best quiche, and croissants. We used to drive all the way from Clearwater.
Haha, We'd take a long drive for a good croissant also! Thanks for the tip!!
That was so funny to hear the Italian music for Venice. Hahaha!
Haha, thanks!
I feel like… 70% warmer just watching this video. 🌴
Haha, glad we could do that for you Aubrey!! The warm weather is fantastic :)
We are super happy to see you having such a nice warm time and that Saba is enjoying too.

Beautiful video!!!
Thank you so much, Kelly, so glad you liked it :)
My city! So cool.
We love your city, enjoy!
I’m so happy you guys got to get out in the sun!!!
Thanks so much! We love the sunshine!!
My home town! Glad you enjoyed it
Upper teens and low 20s back here in Hendersonville
Oh jeez, that sounds pretty cold. Bring on Summer, lol!

Hahaha, That's our favorite part too! It was so fun to see people smiling when they saw Saba in her stroller. She loves riding in style for sure!!
It looks nice there but I would rather live in the mountains any day. I'm not a beach person really. Id rather hike in the woods and mountains than spend the day at a beach. I'm glad you're having a good time!
Thanks buddy, we had such a great time there. We want both mountains and the beach after this trip, lol. We want it ALL, haha :)

Almost 60 back home at DuPont this afternoon!
That sounds pretty good, great hiking weather!

Haha, we would love to move to Venice too and walk by the ocean everyday. So magical to walk in the surf and feel rejuvenated!

@@KurtandSara Thanks for the reply! So it is a thing... but not all the time. I'm glad to hear it was perfectly fine when you were there!
