me to, now it would be a good movie, but without all the expanded universe stuff I now know there was no emotional weight to most of the characters and what emotions were shown were largely unjustified.
It was so fucking good the first time. Now I watch it and I only see the crappy stuff. I wish I didn't because it is the first movie that really made me have intense emotions. I hated, and I mean HATED the clones after.
The brain chip idea came years later, at the time ep3 aired, there were no chips. They turned on the jedi because they were ultimate loyal to palps, and palps only.
I think the canon is that they were BioEngineered to be more docile and accept orders, and the Chancellor was highest ranking, so they wouldn't refuse.
Iiiiimmpressive! I especially like how you respect the spoilers of the movie by not revealing who the Emperor actually is. You only seem to test it which makes this trailer feel even more genuine!
I still think it could be easy to spoil it with that....Maybe it's coz I've seen the movies so many times. But this in general is good work, theres some scenes I'd cut out from it, but otherwise he picked goood moments.
All this time I thought it was supposed to be obvious. You can tell by the way he talks, even in Episode 1. They make it pretty obvious Palpatine was Sidious.
Revenge of the Sith is my favourite star wars movie so far. I watched the prequels first as a kid and liked The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones but this film got me hooked on star wars although I was saddened at Anakin's fall to the dark side cos he was my favourite character lol
+Schmidty the Kid More modern trailers, featurettes, whatever I think people might want to see! Please feel free to request what film you would like to see get a Modern Trailer!
+Tom F Oh and can you do like a mega trailer or trailers for each season of Star Wars The Clone Wars? 6 seasons is a lot of footage to go through but I think that it would be really worth it. It's the only other REALLY good Star Wars property left that you haven't done.
Oh so good!!! You should do a star wars the clone wars trailer! (The tv show). That has some very key plot moments that help better explain why anakin went dark
If you think The Clone Wars is overwhelming and/or bad, this is my opinion on the episodes that only enhance the films: *2003 Cartoon series* Chapters 1-21 (Technically non-canon, but introduces Grievous and another major character who just sort of show up in the 2008 series with no explanation. Does not conflict with canon in any way) *The Battle of Christophsis:* Cat and Mouse The Hidden Enemy Pilot movie (Optional: Introduces a character important later, but also includes Jar Jar) *Dooku Captured Arc* Dooku Captured The Gungan General (Only important episode with Jar Jar. So this was actually the first film of the series that I watched. It was my introduction to the Star Wars universe. I wish it had been one of the originals, but this was a damn good film in its own right. And you did a wonderful job with this trailer. +Beasty Blonde Absolutely, please feel free! Just put a link to my original in your comment section! Send me a link when you upload, would be cool to see!
Wade Fucking Wilson Clever. Very, very clever. I don't even consider TFA a Star Wars movie. Not that I'm a butt hurt fan but it just doesn't register as one to me and seems more unrealistic than a Sci-Fi movie should be.
Eugene Asanya "unrealistic than a sci-fi movie should be" star wars is space fantasy, not SciFi. it's all unrealistic for entertainment. guess you're a new fan eh?
Christian Quiles Hehe. Yes, yes I am pretty new. (About a year now) but I do know more than the average fan. And about the genre, Star Wars is considered both Science Fiction AND Space Fantasy (look it up). But really, how could someone who killed off the entire Jedi Order except Luke, be defeated by someone who barely has any training? It just doesn't make sense. Rey who had no basic training somehow defeated him. Yeah, yeah movies like this a littered with illogic but this defies even Star Wars logic. Even with stupid answers like "The Force was with her" and "She had plot armor" it still doesn't make sense. Pretty much just a bad Ep. 4 bootleg. Though I do commend the death of Han Solo. Anyone else think he committed suicide as if Kylo killed his father he couldn't be redeemed? Ben said thank you and looked surprised when the lightsaber ignited. Thank you for your reply. Can't have any incorrect info on TH-cam :)
Who else thinks the prequels would have been better if they just seperated ROTS into three parts? Anakin and Padme would already be in a hidden relationship, there would be no need for a child actor to play Anakin, the politics behind how the chancellor came to power and the clone wars could be explained quickly through dialouge. And prior events such a Shmi dying could be explained in a comic. All of Anakins feelings and character development in ROTS would be fleshed out in these three movies rather than the poor rush we got. I know the prequals where meant to mirror the original movies, but this could have been done in a three part ROTS.
While I don't think we needed a whole movie with Anakin as a kid, I think it was important to show that. Actually seeing what a sweet, innocent, GOOD boy he was has a much bigger impact than just saying oh yeah, he was a good person before he turned evil. Ep1 portrays Anakin with not one mean bone in him, he's kind and he is selfless (like how he helped the Jedi without knowing who they were, complete strangers). Also seeing his strong bond with his mother and the fact that he grew up in slavery and knowing that the Jedi didn't do shit to end it all play a role in his downfall. I think it would've taken away a lot if we never got to see any of it. But, I do think Ep1 and Ep2 could've been combined into one movie, with Ep1 featuring first a child Anakin, then the teenage Anakin from Ep2. Then have Ep2 focus on Anakin as a Jedi knight while handling his secret marriage with Padme (like in the Clone Wars series). Then bring on Ep3 with his downfall.
Anything different would help. Episode 2 Anakin was a creepy sadistic asshole for no reason from the first minute. That alone is what made that movie the worst.
Nah. Just needed to be accurate to what the OT described with some of the best elements of the prequels and The Clone Wars. Sifo-Dyas goes missing and Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan (Friends because Yoda was Obi-Wan's master) try to find him with the help of Padme, Queen of Alderaan, who's married to Bail. The investigation leads them to Tatooine. Owen and Anakin are brothers in their teens. Anakin wants to join the Jedi but Owen doesn't. Turns out Sifo-Dyas was on the run from Darth Maul, who left the Jedi and founded the CIS. They discover a Clone factory using several different templates, including Jango Fett, Lando, and Obi-Wan (Lando and Obi-Wan were originally intended to be clones in the OT. not making this up). All the while, Senator Palpatine of Naboo wants to go to war, ESPECIALLY when the Clone army is discovered, overthrowing Valorum who's supported by Padme, Bail, and Mon Mothma. The Clone Wars break out as Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon track down Sifo-Dyas' assassin, Darth Maul, but Qui-Gon dies in the process. Darth Maul falls down a pit, assumed dead, but was never injured in the duel. The war rages on for a decade and Anakin and Padme get into a relationship, forbidden for both a Jedi and a queen. A strike team of Jedi sent to investigate a factory on Geonosis goes missing, slaughtered by Grievous, Darth Maul's replacement. Anakin, Padme, and Anakin's apprentice Ahsoka go to investigate but fall into a trap, set to be executed by three beasts. The jedi and Clones arrive to save them, with Ki-Adi, Obi-Wan, and Luminara leading strike teams. Ahsoka meets Bariss Ofee and they become friends. Obi-Wan uncovers a plot to assassinate his ex-lover Satine Kryze and frame the Jedi, catapulting the neutral Mandalore and their elite warriors into the war. The plan succeeds, and Boba Fett gruesomely disintegrates Satine. Obi-Wan struggles to keep his cool but is called back to the Jedi Temple when it's been bombed. Bariss frames Ahsoka and she's expelled, shaking Anakin's trust in the order. Three years pass and Anakin is called back to Tatooine. An anonymous source, "Fulcrum," claims Darth Maul has been spotted. Anakin returns there, plagued with dreams of Padme's death along the way. He finds his mother assassinated by Darth Maul, and tracks Maul down to the underworld of Coruscant with Fulcrum's help, ignoring Padme's calls to return. Padme succumbs to severe depression. Obi-Wan is sent to Utapau to assassinate General Grievous, working undercover with the codename "Ben," a name he prefers. He successfully kills Grievous and returns to Coruscant. Anakin finds Fulcrum, or Ahsoka, but she's soon murdered in cold blood by Darth Maul. Anakin kills him, fueling his rage, and blames the Jedi. If they hadn't expelled her, she wouldn't have died. Palpatine refuses to surrender emergency powers, and a Jedi strike team is sent in to assassinate him, but Anakin intervenes, realizing the Jedi are the thing they swore to destroy. When Palpatine says he can help Anakin save Padme, Anakin turns on the Jedi, hunting them all on Coruscant as Palpatine turns the Republic into the Empire, and Padme further loses her will to live. Anakin forcefully takes her to Mustafar, where Palpatine said she would be safe. Obi-Wan and Yoda track Anakin to Mustafar and split up. The rest of Revenge of the Sith proceeds as originally filmed, except Padme doesn't die and hides on Alderaan, raising Leia for six years. Boom.
but if padme was queen of alderaan don't you think Vader will suspect maybe a little that princess leia, daughter of padme and princess of alderaan, might be his daughter? How would you fix that?
This is just amazing man you earned a subscriber! Keep this up and you'll be making real movie trailers in no time! This made the movie it's self so much better just by watching this! Really inspiring work!
I love this, even before the film came out you knew this was going to happen, so adding more like this makes it more interesting and doesn't give away anything.
i love it!! it would really fit like a real trailer. i like how its like sayin "ani is starting to doubt himself and will end up as darth vader" . nice job!! ^_^
I remember sitting in the theater as a 10 year old, crying my eyes out from the emotive power of the latter half of this movie, coupled with John Williams' poignant and visceral score. It's so powerfully executed. I barely ever watch Star Wars these days, but this movie will always have a place in my heart.
I really like this edit amazing job bro, the music goes nicely with it, I would say if it were a real trailer though it would probably give away too much, just IMO. Again great job!
And darth vaders breathing at the end is perfect
Goosebumps!!
yeah me too, eargasm,, so perfect
And Vader replies, lul.
Darth Vader Get a life
Nice profile pic bro.
I wish i could turn back the time and watch this movie for the fist time again.
me to, now it would be a good movie, but without all the expanded universe stuff I now know there was no emotional weight to most of the characters and what emotions were shown were largely unjustified.
It was so fucking good the first time. Now I watch it and I only see the crappy stuff. I wish I didn't because it is the first movie that really made me have intense emotions. I hated, and I mean HATED the clones after.
HiveTyrant36 Why? Haven't you seen the Clone Wars show? They have bio chips in their brains.
Man your trailers legit make me want to watch the prequels again
Sultan jon snow*
This is ridiculously better than the original. It didn't even spoil a single major plot event. Very good work.
The Government 2 like what? everyone new anakin would be come darth vader...
schwartzy65 who's dart Vader?
schwartzy65 Oh you just had to change it didn't you smh
so having Darth Vader at the end of the trailer would spoil it huh?
Not really. We already knew Anakin was going to turn to the Dark Side.
But this in general is good work, theres some scenes I'd cut out from it, but otherwise he picked goood moments.
even if youve watched the movies only once you can easily see palpatine is the emperor, its so easy
eurodraco WHO COULD IT BE??!!?!
YODA?
All this time I thought it was supposed to be obvious. You can tell by the way he talks, even in Episode 1. They make it pretty obvious Palpatine was Sidious.
I'm sorry... everyone knew Palpatine was the emperor. They were not hiding it.
I always forget how the quality of the films wavered as time went by but the shots always remained memorable and iconic respectively
Lucas may be a poor Director, but the man knew his cinematography.
Revenge of the Sith is my favourite star wars movie so far. I watched the prequels first as a kid and liked The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones but this film got me hooked on star wars although I was saddened at Anakin's fall to the dark side cos he was my favourite character lol
What's next, now that you've finished the Star Wars trailers?
+Schmidty the Kid More modern trailers, featurettes, whatever I think people might want to see! Please feel free to request what film you would like to see get a Modern Trailer!
+Tom F You've been doing a really great job with these! PLEASE do a modern trailer for The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement day! PLEASE!
+Tom F Oh and can you do like a mega trailer or trailers for each season of Star Wars The Clone Wars? 6 seasons is a lot of footage to go through but I think that it would be really worth it. It's the only other REALLY good Star Wars property left that you haven't done.
+Tom F Will we be seeing a Christmas Special trailer?
+Tom F I would love to see a full Metal jacket modern trailer
Make a trailer with all the movies combined
AlphaFilms look up Star Wars saga trailer by Star Wars legacy
This is greatness in the making.
hmmmm
Star Nerd yes I agree
In my personal opinion Episode III was the best Star Wars film
The_Pyromancer agreed
The_Pyromancer I still think it has the best opening out all the films.
The_Pyromancer you have no taste
dylanfire1001 A certain point of taste?
dylanfire1001 u have no mouth
The way you began it with "The tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise" was gold!
I love these modern trailers! Keep doing them man!
Are you serious??. This was absolutely amazing….and it didn’t ruin a single thing. Please please keep them coming!!!
This was actually perfect
Except that he didn't show General Grievous.
+Dobbys Boggart that would be a spoiler
Hot damn that Vader breathing at the very end actually put a tear in my eye. Perfect work man!
This was a great movie I don't care what others think
that was awesome. fantastic editing. Darth Vader breathing at the end really put a dramatic finish to it
Oh so good!!! You should do a star wars the clone wars trailer! (The tv show). That has some very key plot moments that help better explain why anakin went dark
but it's stupid...

2003 Cartoon Series Chapters 22-25
Theres a 2003 series? wtf.
Pretty sure TReigns spoke of the 2008 series. Which is animated and not cartoon-like-dora-the-explorer.
how
So this was actually the first film of the series that I watched. It was my introduction to the Star Wars universe. Hands down, best Star Wars movie ever! Of all time! If not that, then it ties or at the very least is second to Empire Strikes Back.
Love the Darth Vader breathing at the end.
Damn, Disney should have you make the Episode VIII or IX trailer.
This is so perfectly done and just makes me want nothing more than to watch my favorite movie again and again. Thank you for making this!
Favorite Star Wars best to worst: ROTS
ROTJ
ANH
TESB
AOTC
TPM
Three goosebumps and a whole lot of nostalgia. CinemaSins and CinemaWins made me love the prequels and you did a fantastic job on following it up.
It is well made just don't agree on putting obi and anakin fighting since it's spoilers
The " are you threatening me master Jedi?" Was awesome. The bit in palatines arrest would have been amazing as the last bit. Awesome trailer! :)
The best movie in the Star Wars saga in my humble opinion :)
+Nathan Banks wat?
+Colden Honner I know..WAT??!
ArdentFilmGeek See! You and I know what's up!
+Colden Honner I agree with Nathan, III is unmatched.
Le Fedora Lord WAT?!
I knew the 'Vader Sigh' was coming at the end! Awesome job!
Episode III is undoubtedly the best Star Wars film ever made. Everytime I watch it, I still get shivers.
+mattrg320 Totally!
What a horrible taste in films you have...
I wish I could like it as much as I did the first time I watch it. Now I only see the goofy bad stuff when I watch it.
mattrg320 I bet you thought Twilight was a good love story.
Elvin Glass Shut up
watching your trailers feels like i am rediscovering star wars for the first time. Thanks for the feelings
Shit man... this is your best one...goosebumps and everything...
Legend has it that the maker of this video worked for the republic, but went rouge in order to chronicle his experiences in the form of epic trailers.
Have you ever heard the tragedy of Geroge Lucas the wise
The people who he sold his franchise to murdered it in its sleep
Got goose bumps like 3 times. Was hoping to see more clones but you did a fantastic job man.
Awesome!
Ive seen episode 3 so many times and yet, this video still gave me goosebumps. Good job :)
I enjoyed this
amazing trailer man. Love that music and get editing skills.
I want to do a parody video of me reacting to these trailers as if each film is coming out for the first time. Would I be able to do that?
+Beasty Blonde Absolutely, please feel free! Just put a link to my original in your comment section! Send me a link when you upload, would be cool to see!
+Tom F will do man! It comes out on Sunday! Maybe if you subscribe you can find out yourself ;) but honestly these trailers are so cool :)
+Tom F the video will be out today at 12 GMT!! I've linked the video in the description and I'll send you the link once it's live :)
Original Ghostbusters, surely next! Excellent Work!
You should do episode 7. lol.
You mean ep4
Oops

You are seriously talented man, this trailer gives the credit this movie deserves!
You should've put Darth Vader's breathing at the end. Still well done though.
Listen again mon cher
Ok my bad.
AL X i cant hear it :(
AL X he did but its extremely quiet
LOL! You're right, I heard it. Thanks.
Goosebumps! That singular breath at the end was perfect.
I dont think if it was a trailer they show anakin vs obi wan but sick job mate
+Raees B They showed it in plenty of the trailers. >.>
They show anakin vs obi wan on the cover of the movie..
These videos are some really amazing work! Great job and keep it up! :)
Have you ever heared the tragedy of Darth Pleiguess

I'm surprised you didn't put darth vaders suit in it
+HG Shurtugal You wouldn't in a trailer. The breathing at the end is way more intense
Awesome. This is one of my favorites. Nicely done.
Theory : I think Anakin will turns to the dark side
Great job! Came all hyped up from Star Wars Celebration and now I'm even more hyped
Not bad. Actually made it look like a good movie.
2K16 it is a good movie though
Not really.
2K16 majority of audiences and critics say it's good
2K16 it's a great movie
Matthew Brant agreed
Wow you make the prequels look tight as hell!!! That's awesome!!
all of your star wars trailers are the best trailers i have ever seen
I️ get shivers from this I️ love it so much
Absolutely brilliant, loved all the Star Wars modern trailers!! What about doing some of the older James Bond films?
Beautiful editing again dude
That's even better than the original trailer which actually revealed the whole plot.
you sir just earned a subscriber. Awesome job
These are awesome! keep up the good work! What's next now that you finished the Star Wars trilogy?
Wow you just made ROTS ever more epic, great job!
Thats most awesome video, that i have seen in this month.

This made me rewatch the prequels
Loved this fan-made trailer, very well done to draw me into the story.
This was put together so well
Man this is the best one yet of the other modern trailers. Good job 👍
Damn fine work
I love this, even before the film came out you knew this was going to happen, so adding more like this makes it more interesting and doesn't give away anything.
yooooooo that is legit. Nice job
it's epic but i fucking lost it at "DID YOU EVER HEAR THE TRAGEDY OF DARTH PLAGEUIS THE WISE" because of the memes
This got me so excited aaaaaah!! You're very talented :)
Goosebumps for a movie I've watched hundreds of times.
YES I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!
Gotta hand it to ya, this was pretty badass
So well made and precise u put the story well together Nice!!
HOLY SHIT. Just because of this trailer, I'm gonna watch this movie right now. Great work!
Would love to see an Indiana Jones or American Graffiti Modern Trailer! Keep up the great work Tom!
I'd like to see them too. They'd be really good.
not going to lie this gave me chills.
"So this is how liberty dies." "With thunderous applause." - that's right for our times.
all of these trailers are amazing... thank you
really nice job not "revealing" palpatine. Awesome work.
i love it!! it would really fit like a real trailer. i like how its like sayin "ani is starting to doubt himself and will end up as darth vader" . nice job!! ^_^
Vader breathing and the Binary Sunset was a nice touch... it shows while the father has fallen the son shall one day rise in his place.
I remember sitting in the theater as a 10 year old, crying my eyes out from the emotive power of the latter half of this movie, coupled with John Williams' poignant and visceral score. It's so powerfully executed. I barely ever watch Star Wars these days, but this movie will always have a place in my heart.
Dude I got chills :P! Well done indeed!
Dope af nice edits and good use of the rogue one trailer music
some clips in this trailer i have never seen before? like the long shots of coruscant and that clip of dooku?
YOU ARE AWESOME IN MAKING TRAILERS
I need to watch this movie right now!!! Oh wait. I've already done this a hundred times.
Awesome trailer!
This gave me chills and I've seen this movie a lot. Bravo
I really like this edit amazing job bro, the music goes nicely with it, I would say if it were a real trailer though it would probably give away too much, just IMO. Again great job!
This was amazing!
I'm loving the modern trailers.
I literally try not to think about how good these movies should (and COULD!) have been, but I just can't stop myself.
