  • On this trip I visited a peak within the Trossachs called Beinn Each!
I hiked up the fantastic mountain path which also involved a fantastic hike through a woodland section. The summit had impressive views over Stuc a.Chroin and Ben Ledi so I was desperate to stay on the summit and take in the views for the evening.
    Enjoy the video!

      Thanks Allan,
Thought I would show the pack size to maybe help people for future purchases. Plenty of gear to choose from so I always find gear break downs interesting too.

Another great video Gaz. You didn't let us know how your sponge pudding worked out? You are quite strict with your camp score....7.8 ..firm but fair 😂 I found it hard to knock points off as its always fun wild camping. Anyway looking forward to the next video.

      Thanks Vicki,
Sponge pudding was nice but probably should have left it in the boiling water a little longer. I think if I get the chance to show you places like Torridon and Suilven you would probably understand why I’m saving the higher scores for other hills. Beinn Each offered a good hill walk for sure.

Another brilliant vid Gaz, loved the forest walk at the beginning, your videography is excellent. You are so knowledgeable about geography of the area, all the heights, locations etc, whilst sadly I'll never be able to visit now, I really enjoy going virtually.

      Thanks Suszh,
I enjoyed the forest walk at the start as well. I visit this area of Scotland a lot when I get the chance and climbed most the mountains there now. Hopefully my knowledge will continue to help others for planning their trips away.

Great video Gaz, nice to see the back side of some popular hills. Gives a new perspective to them. Hope you're enjoying the Scarpa Treks, I got some a few months ago and love them... super comfortable, light, good protection and not had wet feet... yet 🤞🏻

Liking the new Scarpa boots Kev. Walked at least 70km on them so far and it’s been comfy. The hills in this area of Scotland are all good for camping so far. Beinn Each does offer some good views.

Enjoyed this video very much, thanks for writing the names of some of the places this time. I don't think many people can work out the spelling from the saying.

    • @GazTheExplorer
      @GazTheExplorer  ปีที่แล้ว

Sometimes I struggle with the spelling and I will always try to pronounce the mountains as best as I can too. Will probably include more text on the screen on future videos. ATB Gaz

Wow yet another great Vlog, loved the forest part! I noticed some earlier parts were not fully in focus as no doubt you are aware, ah well these things happen, still a lovely Vlog-thanks for sharing.😃

The forest bit was my favourite part of the hills. Unfortunately some times when I get to the editing part the clips may not be how I wanted them to turn out. Still happy with this vlog and nice to show a new area.

      Thanks Murchie,
I was surprised with the views over Stuc a’Chroin. Was definitely an impressive summit for camping. I think the Glen would be good for winter camping. Will probably revisit the area this winter. Views were brilliant and surprisingly quiet as well.
