I wore my Stay Wild T shirt for the first time and walked from Helensburgh to Balloch on Saturday on the first part of the John Muir way, a huge undertaking for me, achieved in no small part from gaining inspiration from your vlogs and advice, thank you.

I have always wanted my own dragon boat with a 1000 cc Rotax engine in it, Next year when I clean out my kayaks & 500 ltr whisky barrels from the workshop and make some space to work around Project X as I will call it... Crap day for it, But you two cutie pies always seem to smile that crap weather away..

That is true dedication going out canoeing in the rain. I usual;ly watch your videos on my TV with my hubby so don't always remember to leave a comment. We find very few channels that we both want to watch, but yours is one that we do. Been going back and watching your week long treks around the UK. Having fibromyaliga it's not something I'm likely to ever do myself but you do get me excited to go for longer walks do more exploring :-). I live in Australia but I'm pretty sure my hear is in the UK (Scotland specifically).

I love how you spend a lot of time in Scotland. You should drive the North Coast 500. That would be fun to see.

Good to see you messing about in a boat! You need to buy your own if you don't already have one.
I've been wearing my Stay Wild shirt while out with my long bow this afternoon. Very comfy.
    Best wishes
    Al

I would love to bring my Kiwi Kayaks to use in Scotland! They are now made in Canada, but they were originally designed and made by a friend of mine, here in Sonoma County, California.

Easy to see that they are more walkers and talkers than canoeists. Interesting excursion and commentary though.

Ha ha the way you say “bothy” sounds like “body”. I thought eh? a b b body? Then you said you can stay in it, so I thought “oh, thank goodness, it’s just a bothy”lol.

Beautiful, but not being familiar with the Scottish word "bothy" the first couple of times I thought you were saying "body," as in, "On the island, we will find a body." Which was a bit jarring. We would call it a shelter or a hut, but if you have cool words like bothy (bothie?), no reason not to use them. BTW/I love canoeing. One of the best times of my life was a week-long canoe trip on the lakes in the North Woods of Maine. Lots of humongous lakes, a fair number of mountains, even more trees, but no people.

Scotland is fine for ducks....visited nine times always wet and cold.
Never again which is a real shame but two weeks off every year and soaking wet every day...no thanks I head south

Hi Abbie, 67 yo here , been hiking cycling and kayaking for near on 50 years. So us folk are more at risk from Covid. My wife and I have been cocuninhg for 5 months, that means we go nowhere more than 5 km from home, we’re fit so can do this no problem., so seeing you in Germany in a pandemic was not helpful . So could you possibly co op that there is more to life now on than having your little adventures. The whole world is in trouble so please understand that I don’t want to see any more that is non essential.

Unfortunately the world can't just stay still Michael, we need things to get back to normal and that means tourism included. Germany is exempt from the UK governments non essential travel advice. Abbie hasn't done anything wrong.
