Lovely little video. We did the same stretch of canal in June this year, except we set off from a different wharf. Ironically, our barge was identical to yours, but ours was red. I video'd the whole adventure, but not yet made it into a film as I've been too busy.
We are going on a barge day trip this Saturday from Penkridge to Wolverhampton, then back to the same canal as in your video in May next year. We will then be purchasing a barge as it's been a lifelong dream of mine.
When on the canal, you are forced to relax, especially when driving because it takes 100% of your concentration, and there is no time to think of anything else. The best therapy one can have.
I'm glad to see that Robbie Cummings now has his own TV programme.

Very nicely done. My family did that from Whitchurch about 10 yrs ago. It was good to revisit with you. Love the dog.

A lovely vlog. Husband appeared a bit shy, but that was fine. Hans seemed to go with the flow ok. You took to the whole procedure like a duck to water, driving, locks, camera, action and all the bits in between. Vlog1 done and dusted, I do hope there's many more to come. Thanks, and take care.

Love your daawg! We had a little tri-colour Border Collie, Jack, but I think he was a bit Corgi because his eyebrows and other tan bits were lighter golden brown and he had a really thick coat. Lovely busy body though.

The Llangollen canal, transports water from the Horseshoe falls down to Hurleston Resevoir. That’s the reason it takes longer to get to Llangollen than to return. A Welsh Oggie contains Leeks, were a pastie doesnt.

Nice video, but what does "leave your John Smith's" mean? Just wondering.

Nice interesting video, lovely dog. No, Llangollen or Pontcysyllte weren't pronounced correctly, but good try. It's the 'LL' that's difficult for many.
