Found your channel purely by accident and I love it. Looking to move on to a boat permanently soon after much research, please, if you see an Australian looking confused, come and have a cuppa and that gorgeous dog can have some treats. Take care and thank you.
Hi Vanessa, I sensed you were in your Element with Zeph in the wooded area… what a beautiful escape from all the sadness in Britain at the moment. I’m moored right opposite what I believe is a Sedge Warbler… ( had to record its song on my bird app to identify it) every morning it climbs from the long grass and holds onto the highest stem bursting with so many different sounds? I’ve never heard one before as normally I get saturated by Chiff Chaffs and Blackbirds… I hope Zeph gets a new ball very soon 😊
That sounds just like a sedge warbler. They love to sing from the a high position to show everyone how beautiful their song is! I love them!!!!Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Oh Vanessa ! Could this video possibly have been more tranquil and soothing and . . . to see the Green Tiger Beetle sketched at the very end was . . . TRULY SAVING THE VERY BEST FOR LAST ! I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo hoping he would be included n this weeks drawing. I chuckled at the Fox not giving two hoots at the Heron standing watch :) This was such a treat Vanessa, I so look forward each week spending time with you as you venture out on Alice Grace . The effort which goes into producing such fine films is not lost on me. May God Bless you and Zephyr this week. Cheers from Avondale Arizona.
The Green Tiger Beetle was a delight to draw- what a gorgeous insect it is! I haven't seen one before. It is one of our fastest moving insects and my goodness, it was rapid as it shot across the ground. I had to hold my breath so not to disturb it when filming it.Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Hello Vanessa - greetings from Poland Your beautiful video put the sunshine back into my life today. Unfortunatley, we had to have Tina put to sleep this afternoon. She was 14 years old and had Cusshings Disease. Our decision came after consultation with our incredible vet. What a shame you have left the Peak forest but the Macclesfield is lovely too. That walk to the postbox was terrific. And all the new life was saw was superb
Oh, Michael, I am so, so sorry to hear about ,Tina. I hope you are okay? I am sure you must have 14 years of incredibly beautiful memories of her. Take care. 🦋🌻🤗🤗💚
I just love, love your dog zephyr. She is so calm and sweet.❤ Your walk through the trails and stream was one of my favourites. Thank you. ❤ It looks so much like where I live in British Columbia. Beautiful
I am so pleased that you enjoyed the walk, Darlene. Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Zephyr woofs a 'hello' to you. Have a super weekend. Take care 🌻🦋
Poor Zeph, that ball was special. I always had trouble introducing a new ball too my dog. Narrowboating does seem like a very relaxing lifestyle, and they look very comfortable. The hike up the mountain was quite a challenge, good on you. 😊😊
Beautiful, never seen a pipit or the green back beetle, thank you for showing us, mountaineering now as well, Zephyr weren't the only one to have a treat 4 biscuits. We have been away again Cleethorpes this time, we heard a cuckoo and a young vixen fox came up to our caravan last night i shared some sliced beef with her and she took a piece out of my hand, she even gave me time to take pictures of her beautiful. Great video again. All the best Gary n Irene.
Oh Gary and Irene, you heard a cuckoo and fed a vixen! That sounds like my idea of paradise. I bet you have some magnificent photos of her.Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
That is such a kind comment and I love that you have called them 'water stories' too! 🥰Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Hello again! What a great episode! Loved hearing about the narrowboat prices and builds, very good information. Beautiful scenery and commentary, as usual. Also enjoyed the history, hearing about those brave ramblers who paved the way for future generations to enjoy the peaks, valleys, and waterways that would otherwise be off-limits to the general public today. I always learn something new from your channel, and today is no different. Thanks again, and best wishes, as always!
Weren't those ramblers brave? I am so grateful to them for getting the ball rolling on the right to roam as the places that we can go to and enjoy now are just wonderful.Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
So look forward to getting home on Fridays after walking my Border Collie Kate , i make a coffee have a KitKat sit back and thoroughly immerse myself in your wonderful vlog thank you so much take care Terence & Kate. 🐾🐾
I hope you had a wonderful walk with Kate this evening. I now have a craving for a KitKat! 🤭Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
You're in shorts Vanessa! Must be wonderful weather in the Peak Forest. I spent a wonderful walking holiday in the Peak District many years ago but further south near Matlock. It was stunning.I enjoyed finding out about narrow boat costs and such. Too rich for my budget but I can vicariously enjoy cruising via your vlogs every week. Thanks again for everything! Happy trails. w xx
Hi Wendy, the weather is definitely calling for the clothes in summer storage to come out! Matlock is stunning, isn't it?Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
My end of the week reset. My "Mindful" recharge. Beautiful Countryside and a voice as smooth and comforting as chocolate. Thank you Vanessa for another supreme vlog.. stay safe and happy cruising..... John.
That is so kind of you. It's all about the practice. I am not a natural artist, I am just working hard at trying to get better and enjoying every minute of it.Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Thanks for an other beautifully vlog . My friend and I have been on 2 canal boat Holidays and I like you spent many an hour watching the wiled life and painting and writing poems , not as good as your paintings and poems though. Although I cant afford holidays at the moment you allow me to transport my self back to the canals that I love. thank you so much for all your time and effort , I look forward to your next one. Steve XXX
That is wonderful that you spent your canal holiday painting and writing poetry- the water has a very creative affect on us doesn’t it? I bet your creations were amazing. Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🌻🦋
Hi Vanessa another great video. Just love all that you do, I’ve been told I need a new hip, and I lose myself watching you. You have an aura about you that is so peaceful. Thank you for making such beautiful videos. Have great week and see you next week. Xx
Hi Sandy, you must be in a lot of pain to be needing a new hip? I really hope that gets sorted quickly for you. Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🌻🦋
Treat yourself to one, she seeks them on Etsy. I bought one for myself as a birthday gift, and I absolutely love it! It's even more beautiful in person. 😊
I am so pleased that you are enjoying the vlogs. Thank you so much for your kind words about my art and poetry. Having time to dedicate to creative tasks is such a life enhancing thing. Happy painting and writing, Ann! Take care🦋🌻
It's definitely a more laid-back style of living. You don't hafta cut the grass but in sense still have chores to do. But waking up to a different view every so often is definitely something to appreciate. 🇨🇦 👌
It is more laid back, but you are right there are still lots of chores to do. Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Have a super weekend. Take care 🌻🦋
oh that was lovely thank you, what a wonderful little walk through woodland you did, with the music and birdsong it was just right! Poor Zephyr loosing her ball! I have a small black Lab and she is exactly the same, really panics if she loses her ball and will run franticly around the house and garden looking for it, biscuits do work and normally we find it. thank you also, for talking about the cost and having a Narrow boat. We were looking into it a few years ago, but couldn't go ahead with it due to family illness. I am quite suprised at how much they have gone up since then! so we bought a camper van instead which has been good. hope you are all well and thank you for you lovely drawing and poems. x
Hi Katie, Labradors and their ball obsessions eh! 🐾🐾😂 I bet you have some wonderful adventures in your camper van? Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Have a super weekend. Take care 🌻🦋
I have a Labrador (elderly, blind, ill, but still doing okay) and a border collie older puppy, both rescues. We know a little bit about the trauma of a lost fetch toy in this house. Not much is more tragic, unless you've got treats. Treats make a lot of things better. One of my favorite things about your channel, about your videos, is that you label the animals and plants that fascinate you. If you ever come to California, I will definitely show you some fascinating things here if you like. I can't do too much deep adventuring anymore because I've developed a disability, but I'll bet you would love the redwoods.
Please pass on a big hug from me to your Lab and Collie. You are so right about treats too! 🐾🐾👍 Thank you so much for such a kind comment. Take care 🦋🌻
Ah, 23 minutes of pure entertainment watching yet another relaxing Vlog of yours. And, indeed, you have really inspired me to get out and about doing nature videos. Once again, thank you so much for making and sharing your delightful videos. 🙂
Hi Paul, I hope you get out and do some photography as the trees and hedges are bursting with life!Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
I just ordered a book from you a few days ago. I’d like to think that my book went to the post with you on that beautiful walk. Your videos are very calming, in a world of rush and racket. Thank you for that.
. Amongst my favorite moments are those during rain or wind or snow where you are tuckd away on your little boat, cozy, dry, with views of the weather and amidst warm quietude.
So sorry Zephyr lost her ball. Hopefully you bought her a new one. I love all the colorful narrow boats and the interesting names, like “straight and narrow”. Your vlogs have become my favorite Friday evening treat. Beautiful scenery, lovely music, and the living history you show us living on the canals are superb in every way. I’m working through your earlier vlogs and I’m now up to 96. Thank you so much for all you do.
Zephyr has a new ball now and she is very happy about it all- thankfully! I am so pleased that you are enjoying the vlogs and I am honoured that my channel is part of your Friday evening routine too. Have a super weekend. Take care 🌻🦋

We always enjoy watching your adventures. We have been up Kinder Scout many times. I am now 81, and my father, who was born in Belper, and an avid walker, was on the mass trespass. He took me up Kinder and Mam Tor when I was 7, and I have loved it ever since. Thank you for evoking this lovely memory. Keep living the dream.
What beautiful memories you must have and how proud you must be of your father for paving the way for the right to roam. He was brave. Thank you for such a lovely comment. Take care🦋🌻
Synchronicity! I watched Bill Bailey and Alan Davies yesterday rambling in the same area, and they talked about the 1932 mass trespass too (possibly even using the same image). An inspirational story. There's so much to enjoy in your vids, Vanessa. From your nature observations (that Green Tiger beetle is a stunner) to gorgeous Zeph, the beautiful countryside and your sense of humour. I yearn for a Summer's day in England, maybe we should swap our sailboat here in sweaty Southeast Asia for a narrowboat back home... Grass is always greener, eh? Liz ⚓🐾
I will have to watch that episode! Your sailboat sounds dreamy. We have had one of the wettest and darkest winters and early springs ever, Liz so maybe swapping to have a summer's day and then going back again might be better. 😂 Thank you so much for such a kind and lovely comment. Have a super weekend. Take care 🦋🌻
England is such a lovely country, and the canals are a wonderful way to see parts of it. I hope they keep the ones they have and even expand on them. Whether I'm crossing Montana or watching one of your videos, I always imagine myself living in the homes I see along the way. Very idyllic scenery. I think narrowboat living would be nice for a season or a year, but I would eventually want to settle back down as I am, on my little acre. Your satisfaction in getting the black on your keel is matched by my getting the 30x36 foot slab poured underneath the pole building that's going to be my greenhouse.
Today was a beautiful day I also spent some time ball hunting with Margo 🙂 and the best part of the day had to be a milky coffee, a handful of malted milks…and then another cracking episode. V you are a star 🙂
Sorry spell check for ya . We love all your journeys with you boat and your dog ,luke is a serious watcher he loves our industrial heritage . Take care zepper and you .
Possibly your best video yet, kudos! I'm going to buy you a coffee, use it to by Ms. Zephyr a new ball, she's a great dog and reminds me so much of my own dog.
That is so kind of you- thank you so much! Zephyr has a new ball now and she is very happy about that. Pass on a belly rub to your dog from me. Have a super weekend. Take care 🦋🌻
My wife and i watched this episode on the tv. I am 73 and we have had 7 Labradors, Black Dahlia is our third rescue. Enjoy your channel immensely, wish you had drawn the the three labs in the creek. Sad Zephyr lost her ball, we know how that goes.
7 Labradors! That’s a lot of love, loyalty and biscuit munching going on there. 😂 They are such wonderful dogs aren’t they? Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care🦋🌻
I hope you had a lovely week on the canals. The weather has been kind and spring is glorious on the water. Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Have a super weekend. Take care 🦋🌻
That was a beautiful vlog. Good to see you climbing Kinder Scout and then going on a convoluted journey to find a post box! I hope you managed to get Zephyr a new ball. You both keep us all smiling.
Hi Ruth, Zephyr has a new ball again and she is a very happy dog about it all!🐾🐾😂 Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Have a super week. Take care 🦋🌻
I've tried so many products on the bottom of our boats and they all say they prevent the build up of vegetation on the hull, but none ever do. Swans and ducks are the best way to remove it. We paid £10,000 for our 60 yr old Rugby boat, but have spent about £30,000 getting it fitted out. Keep up the great videos. We were due to go up the Maccelsfield and Peak Forest this month but life has got in the way.
It is always so sweet to hear the ducks and swans nibbling at the weed on the hull. I bet your boat looks beautiful now! I hope life gets back to normal for you so that you can explore these two stunning canals. Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a super weekend. Take care 🦋🌻
This video brought back happy memories. The very first time I stayed away from home was in the last year of juniors when we went on a trip to Edale, we stayed at a hostel called Champion House and we climbed Kinder Scout, we walked miles and miles. It looked exactly as I remembered. Thanks for all of the information about boats and the cost. I loved the boats that told a little story, and your walk through the garlic forest looked magical, Zeph, enjoyed her paddle and her little frolic with the other dogs. Poor Zeph, lost her ball, maybe one of the other dogs will find it one day if they are regulars there. Lovely poem and artwork too. Take care the 3 of you. X
I saw groups of children doing the same when I was there! It must have been so exciting and slightly scary to be away from home for the first time? I used to take the Year 6 children for their residential when I was a teacher and it was always such a special trip. Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Shirley. Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Thank you for taking us along your journey. I am sure the bridge will be replaced in due time and Zepher will have a new ball. Everyone stay safe, warm, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
What a lovely 'adventure' walk to the postbox, it brought back memories of similar walks as a child in N Wales through the wild garlic and bluebell woods with rocky streams and broken bridges although I had a premonition that taking Zephy's ball along wasn't going to end well!! Have a good weekend!
Your childhood walks sound like they were so beautiful. Every time, I take a ball out with Zephyr, I sort of know it's not really going to come back with us! 🐾🐾🤭 She has a new ball now and she is very happy with herself as it is an upgrade! Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a super weekend. Take care 🦋🌻
I am so pleased that you liked the drawing. The Green Tiger Beetle is incredible isn't it? It is one of the UK's fastest insects.Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
I would imagine it sounds absolutely fantastic in a thunderstorm on your boat. I used to love it in a caravan or even a tent , so therapeutic. I am so jealous of your lifestyle 😉.
It is so therapeutic to hear the rain and thunder when you are so close to it, isn't it?Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Your videos are really zen, very nicely edited and well narated. It's much appreciated that you take us with you on your exploring walks with the dog, too bad the ball got lost. Your painting and drawing talents are something that is making me sort of jealous, as I've never managed to draw anything that other people would be able to recognise 👍👍👍
Thank you so much for your kindness, Peter. I couldn't draw to start with, but I just practise hard. I know you could draw too if you had the time to dedicate to practising. Take care 🦋🌻
Really look forward to your videos. I’m still busy watching all your older ones as well. Loved seeing the one when you were on the Ashby canal through the villages and town I live .
The House right on the canal was beautiful ❤️ the whole area is stunning really. KinderScout very special indeed. Your smile and words really complete the blog😊
Boat beaming and dog dreaming, foxes who give no hoots for herons, and a post box at the edge of the wild wood. That's a lovely life to lead, well done you. 😊
Hi Debba, that does sound rather lovely when you put it altogether like that doesn't it?Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Good evening Vanessa ~ another brilliant Friday night in store for me as your vlog/video is ready to watch ~ I couldn’t comment earlier as I was with the head physio and the nurse discussing medication And I didn’t see the notification flash up ~ I hope you have a lovely weekend - sending you loads of love and loads of hugs as always ~ Xxx Xxx
Another magical episode, thankyou. Zephyr was so gutted about the ball, bless, but got some good consolation at the end. Look forward to more of your wonderful videos.
Vanessa, 👱♀Thanks for sharing ! I knew Zephyr 🐶 would lost her ball. My dogs would have lost the ball also. I love labs,💖 Zephyr is beautiful. I also love your art work. Cheers 🍪🍪☕☕
The amount of balls we have lost and the amount of different ones that we have found is like stars in the sky!Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Wow- that was a long time to have a narrowboat! I completely understand why you must miss it.Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
We have had some lovely weather recently and all the flowers and butterflies are starting to appear! I hope you are having good weather too? Thank you so much for watching. Have a super weekend. Take care 🦋🌻
I am so pleased that was better, although I must remember to stop shouting when I am wearing it as I am so used to shouting over the engine, so I had to lower the volume of my voice this time. 😂Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
As ever, so many well-deserved accolades posted for last week's vlog. Vanessa, you are indeed a brilliant photographer/storyteller. Around every corner is a wonderfully creative new surprise. A joyful presentation. A true gift for all to embrace. I have said this before... I shall say it again... many, many thanks! ❤️
I was brought up in High Lane (Windermere Rd) in the early 70's and our house backed on to the canal. It was also unusual in that my mum and dad rented the land to the side of the house from the railways as the railway tunnel was directly underneath and so it couldn't be built on. If you look carefully, you'll notice a line of unbuilt land going through the housing estate that follows the tunnels' line. We were also members of the NCCC but only had a little fibreglass boat (Dawncraft).
I will have to try and look out for that line- how interesting! It must have been exciting growing up by the canal?Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Hi, I just love narrowboats £70,000 for a home is not a bad price the good thing about it you don’t like the neighbours or theoutlook you just move , I am very fortunate here in Australia. I have very good neighbours. Keep up the good work. Love your videos you’re looking pretty fit
That is very true indeed! I am so pleased that you have nice neighbours. 🤭 Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Have a super weekend. Take care 🦋🌻
The area you covered was my old child and young adult area, as i lived in Cheadle Cheshire, then Hazel Grove and Bramhall, before moving to Sheffield in the early 80s, I was a Fireman in Greater Manchester and South Yorkshire and traveled across the Peak District for three years. so i know the area well as i and my late brother used to cycle there as well, fished on those canals. I now live in New Forest and am thinking about selling up and buying a boat, as I do photography and also collect cameras, to many, and i need to sell a lot of stuff, your drawings and stories/poems are really good, I love the rustic aspect and also the fact that you included such wildlife and the insects, being honest i started to cry, happy tears, but also regretful as i had a better chance about 8 years ago to do what I now am considering. Thank You and safe travels. David 🥲🙂👩🏼🎨🐝🐞🐛🍁📮📷🍄🟫Ps Love the flower and herb troughs , another one of my loves.
Another informative relaxing ride on Alice Grace with Kinder Scout & some lush woodland walking with Zeph thrown in, lovely end to my Friday. Thank you Vanessa, have a great weekend.

@@themindfulnarrowboat. How did you first get into narrow boating, was it easy to pick up.
Brilliant that you find joy in the simple things, like a dog's ball, a birds home, and the value of life. Thank you.
The simple things bring the greatest pleasure! Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Take care🌻🦋

Hello Vanessa - greetings from Poland
Your beautiful video put the sunshine back into my life today. Unfortunatley, we had to have Tina put to sleep this afternoon. She was 14 years old and had Cusshings Disease. Our decision came after consultation with our incredible vet.

Oh, Michael, I am so, so sorry to hear about ,Tina. I hope you are okay? I am sure you must have 14 years of incredibly beautiful memories of her. Take care. 🦋🌻🤗🤗💚
You're far more entertaining than anything currently on the main tv channels, especially the BBC. Excellent videos.
Really? That is so kind of you- thank you so much. 😊 Have a super rest of the week. Take care 🦋🌻
Zephyr has a new ball now, Barbara and she loves it- thankfully! 😅 Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Have a super weekend. Take care 🌻🦋
Wonderful, yet again...
Informative, interesting and picturesque.....

They are sweet, little birds aren't they?Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻

John.

Your artwork keeps getting better and better. ❤
That is so kind of you. It's all about the practice. I am not a natural artist, I am just working hard at trying to get better and enjoying every minute of it.Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Super video and love how you capture nature and your overall style. Wonderful drawings, by the way.

Take care🌻🦋
I just found you on TH-cam, and I am thoroughly enjoying your content. As an artist myself, your sketchbook and poetry is absolutely beautiful.
Take care🦋🌻
Awesome countryside views, Thanks for sharing
You are so welcome, Henry. Thank you so much for watching. Take care 🌻🦋
Stunning camera work (as ever)! Thank you, such a joy to watch 🙏
Thank you so much 😊 That’s so kind of you. Take care 🌻🦋
I'm watching your blog from cape town south africa. What I love most is the way you show us the canals wonderful wildlife. ❤
I hope you enjoyed it all the over in Cape Town?Thank you so much for watching. 😊 Take care 🌻🦋
I think it did go by way of the enchanted forest and stream! Thank you so much for buying it. Take care 🌻🦋
Absolute Bliss....Had My Cuppa Ready this Time. The Walk & Bird Song Was Divine 🌳💚🪶 "Thank You So Much Vanessa" 💐
Did you have some biscuits with that tea, Sally?Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
@@themindfulnarrowboat Yes I did indeed have some biscuits & A Blueberry Muffin Lol Have a Lovely Week End Too 🐕💖🦋
. Amongst my favorite moments are those during rain or wind or snow where you are tuckd away on your little boat, cozy, dry, with views of the weather and amidst warm quietude.
I agree; it's a hygge kind of thing, isn't it? Thank you so much for watching. Take care 🦋🌻
It does sound idyllic where you are. I like the comparison between hull and greenhouse too🤩 Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care 🌻🦋
@@themindfulnarrowboat Blessings be!
Today was a beautiful day I also spent some time ball hunting with Margo 🙂 and the best part of the day had to be a milky coffee, a handful of malted milks…and then another cracking episode. V you are a star 🙂
I hope, Margo was more successful at finding her ball? Yum, malted milks! Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Sorry spell check for ya . We love all your journeys with you boat and your dog ,luke is a serious watcher he loves our industrial heritage . Take care zepper and you .

Thank you so much, Yvonne! Have a super week. Take care🦋🌻
It was me who asked about electric. Very nice video V.
Very good question- thank you so much for that. Take care🦋🌻
I can't get over how tidy you are, both literally and mentally, in all you do! I wish I had that in my life.
I really am not that tidy; i just don’t film the messy bits!😂 Thank you for your lovely comment. Take care 🌻🦋
Simply phenomenal content, thank you so much.
That is so kind of you! Thank you so much. Take care 🌻🦋
Thank you for your lovely vlog xx
That is so kind of you. You are very welcome. Take care🦋🌻
I first climbed Kinder Scout with my grandmother in 1948. Next week I hope to take my grandchildren there….
That is amazing! How wonderful as well that you are making it part of a family tradition too. Happy climbing.
Take care🦋🌻
Oh my, i feel sooo relaxed after watching this!
Wonderful way of living life.
❤
I’m so pleased that you found it relaxing. Thank you so much for your watching. Take care 🦋🌻
I've just discovered you on here after a wonderful week on the canals myself. What a beautiful, informative and well made video. Thank you so much.
Breathe....and relax......is she still floating 😀.....then all is well 🦋🌸🐾 Thanks for sharing the journey! Beaming and dreaming ❤
Exactly, Margaret! 🤩 Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Have a super weekend. Take care 🌻🦋
Hi Norm, Zephyr has a new ball now which she is very pleased about.Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Particularly gorgeous pipit drawing this week. With paler colours, it comes up so well. And isn’t the green tiger a stunning insect! Thank you.
6:50 glad the weather is picking up for you Vanessa hope that Mr M was able to join you and Zeph on your walks? Xx
It is really spring now.Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
Thanks for a lovely vlog.Your love of all nature is great for you to share.
It is a pleasure. Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Take care🦋🌻
That is so kind of you, Peter! Thank you so much. Have a super rest of the week. Take care 🌻🦋
Thank you so much for your kindness, Peter. I couldn't draw to start with, but I just practise hard. I know you could draw too if you had the time to dedicate to practising. Take care 🦋🌻

Boat beaming and dog dreaming, foxes who give no hoots for herons, and a post box at the edge of the wild wood. That's a lovely life to lead, well done you. 😊

Vanessa, 👱♀Thanks for sharing ! I knew Zephyr 🐶 would lost her ball. My dogs would have lost the ball also. I love labs,💖 Zephyr is beautiful. I also love your art work. Cheers 🍪🍪☕☕

A wonderful video. I've only recently come across you. I had a narrow boat for 17 years with my late partner & do miss the canal's a lot.
Wow- that was a long time to have a narrowboat! I completely understand why you must miss it.Thank you so much for your lovely comment.Have a super weekend.Take care 🦋🌻
What lovely walks Vanessa. You must be having some lovely weather, nice to be in shorts and tshirts. Hope Zephyr has another ball.
We have had some lovely weather recently and all the flowers and butterflies are starting to appear! I hope you are having good weather too? Thank you so much for watching. Have a super weekend. Take care 🦋🌻
Thanks for using an external microphone. I can hear what you are saying when the engine noice isn’t that loud anymore
Thanks for a mindful vlog ❤
Thank you so much, Lynn. It means such a lot to me to read a comment like this. Have a super weekend. Take care 🦋🌻🤗
"Higher Poynton", I was born there in the 1960s but have not returned since the age of 2. You make summer rain macks look parisienne chic Ms. Mindful.
It is a lovely place! And what a kind compliment about my raincoat too. 😊Thank you so much for watching. Take care 🌻🦋
I really hope you find the fulfilment that you are looking for, David. Thank you for your beautiful message. Take care 🦋🌻
