I just discovered you. SUBSCRIBED. LOVE them all especially the last one. I've only been pouring for a few months with a lot to learn but I am wholly addicted and dedicated pouring every day. I am grateful that you will answer our questions.
I’m a new-be at the art of a dirty pour. I wish I had your paint recipe. It would have help me tremendously! I’ve written down so many paint recipes from other videos, but I’m a still a bit confused, so much so that it keeps me from the sun light of the spirit and my love of painting. So I draw right now. But seeing your video has inspired me once again and who cares if I make mud once again? Lol
Welcome to the channel and this art form. Please let me know if you have any questions. My recipe is 3 parts floetrol to one part paint. Usually no water, very little if needed to get right consistency. I have a few videos on this. No matter what just have fun.
Great tube technique. I always wondered why Rinske and Molly try always to blow up in their mouth. Especially when they can’t go around and see the different angles. I will definitely try the technique so much more practical and good all round direction of control.
Really cool! I like rainbow colors too! I noticed you play music in your videos..you may like Promise CD on Itunes..pretty piano melodies with some string harmonies😊
Your colors, and the combination of such, truly stunning work! I notice how thick your paint is, and I it’s great how you pinch your corners of the canvas as the paint falls to your corners instead of having your paint fall all over the place. Have you tried the metallic paints by Arteza? You might want to check it out. Your Too Cool! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you very much. I try to throw little tips in here and there. I have not tried the Arteza metallic paints yet. I have been eyeing them though. May have to get some soon. Arteza has nice products.
You can, you don't have to though. As long as you go slow and steady it will automatically go in a circular motion. If you get going too fast you can slow a bit and move in a circular motion to get it going again in a circle.
Don't use silicone. Also what are you using for a pouring medium? Floetrol is what I use. However Floetrol does tend to create cells. Even without silicone.
Glad you found a way to make yourself better. Love your painting they look so easy. I’ve noticed you don’t over stretch. Question how do you stop whit blobs forming cells happening from base layer? Going to give your way a go so uplifting and energizing. Thanks💐😘
Thank you! The white blob can be caused by a few different things. Make sure your white doesn't have any bubbles. Also I have noticed if my white is too thin I will get them as well. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Have a great evening.
Yes a plastic napkin ring from the Dollar Tree. This video has a two part series to it that is listed in the description. The two parts that correspond with this video has more explanations in it. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Amazing!! Question: when I do some of these pours (I’m very new with this) it looks good when it’s wet, but when it dries it’s very faint, and the texture of the canvas shows through the painting. My assumption is that my pants are too thin. I also don’t get big cells I get big cells on a few of my colors, And the rest are a little freckles that come up when I torch it. Again, is this because my pants are too thin? I don’t have enough pigment in them?
Yes it does sound like your paint is a little thin. I have a video on consistency of pour paints. But what you're looking for is the consistency of warm honey. It's ok to see a little of the canvas texture. But you don't want your design to disappear while drying, which is usually from thin paint. Also for big cells, what type of silicone are you using? Surprisingly a little silicone goes a long way. If too much silicone it can hinder the bigger cells from forming. I use 1-2 drops in only a couple colors. I will be doing a video all about silicone very soon. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day.
… For whatever reason it cut off half of my response??!!? Could you please send me that link for the video on consistency? Thank you I really do appreciate the time and anything that you spend helping all of us!
Thank you! A whimsy swipe is a technique I made up and have been doing for a couple years now. A Dutch pour is a blown pour. In a whimsy swipe I use a palette knife and swipe at random across the colors. I have a playlist with several whimsy swipe videos that explain the technique in detail. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day!

@@jenniferedwards5403 who is this?
Not sure who that was. I deleted the comment. I'm pretty sure it was a mistake and possibly meant to comment somewhere else. Sorry for the confusion.
This is gorgeous!!! 💗
Thank you!
Could you please do some pour paintings with a circle canvas and spin is :D
Yes I will try to order some and get a video done. Thank you!
any silicone in there?
I thought you actually move the cup in a circular motion for a tree pour
You can, you don't have to though. As long as you go slow and steady it will automatically go in a circular motion. If you get going too fast you can slow a bit and move in a circular motion to get it going again in a circle.
Are these tiles or mini canvases?
Where do you get the tube for blowing? I don't know where I can get it
Hi! Great question. It is a piece of tubing for a fish aquarium. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
I do not like cells, how can I avoid them?
June VanHouten don’t put silicone in your paints I would imagine?
Don't use silicone. Also what are you using for a pouring medium? Floetrol is what I use. However Floetrol does tend to create cells. Even without silicone.
@@WhimsyCreek thanks
I don't use any medium right now, just paint alone.

@@WhimsyCreek thank you :)
Me han encantado,
Where do you buy your ceramic tiles?
Usually Lowe's or Home Depot.
Whimsy Creek Art thank you. I did research more after I submitted my question. Now I’ll be off to one of them to purchase the tiles.
The second hand stores.
Sorry what did I miss, did you use a napkin ring to pour paint onto canvas?
Yes a plastic napkin ring from the Dollar Tree. This video has a two part series to it that is listed in the description. The two parts that correspond with this video has more explanations in it. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
wow ... you have accomplished so much, I don't know if I can ever measure up to your work ethic my friend hehhee ;) big like ;)
Thank you! You can do it!

why is a torch used, only to not have as many cells?
To break the tension on the top of the pore.
Thank you Kim! Yes, to break the tension to allow cells to pop up. Also to break any bubbles you might have.
Porque te salen tantas celdas?
