It is a great spot, parking is limited so get there early. Like 7 am , the snorkel boats won't be there yet. Take some frozen veggies the fish love them. I am heading back there next week. FYI , you have to pay to park. No cash pay through a app.
Yeah its called Destin Snorkel and you pay $40 to $50 per person. They then take you to your FIRST STOP LOCATION at the East Pass Jetty as you see here in this video, as to where he explains, "you can pay $40 To $50 to ride a boat, or my cheap ass will walk here". Unfortunately, he forgot to explain the most exciting and neatest snorkeling stops they make on their adventures in the full duration with Destin Snorkel. Oh, and, did I forget to explain the they provide guests with kayaks and other fun water sports at the FIRST LOCATION... anyways after a 45min snorkeling swim around the East Pass Jetties, or enjoying a quick cruise around the snorkeling site in a kayak, the next to-do on the list is take a 30min dolphin cruise out and around the East Pass on the other side of the jetties traveling down the white sandy beach shoreline. Now, once everyone got there excitement over about the 170+ dolphin pods families we have in a 9 mile stretch of our Beaches. They took us back through the East Pass and underneath the Destin Bridge slightly around all of the Crab Island boat traffic, the giant inflatable water park and festivities barges enjoying the crystal blue-emerald green + teal clear water. Once we were behind the outer end of crab island close to shore we threw the anchor over and enjoyed the last THIRD and FINAL stop of the trip besides stopping by the Tiki Hut to purchase your family photo that they take of you before exiting the boat. Lastly.... please do not forget to tip your crew!!! Destin Snorkel provides a 4hr Snorkeling and Dolphin Excursion. They are a favorite of mine as a Local who has lived here for almost 40 decades. I know for a fact the many Tourist who visit the #HendersonBeachResort in Destin rave and love the adventures with Destin Snorkel!!
This is a wonderful description. Makes me want to go try Destin Snorkel. My video was not meant to make the Snorkeling Industry look bad. It was just a way to show the Beautiful side of Destin without it costing a family of 4 or 6 $200 to $300 dollars . Snorkeling for free at a public spot.

The Camera is a Yi Lite. You can buy one for around $150 . Works great in good light underwater.
