Loved your reaction to finding out about Judas. I think initially Judas was enamored with the whole idea of Jesus. He was well liked by the other disciples enough they entrusted him with the money and never realized he was stealing from them. They never even suspected that he would be the one to betray Jesus. Jesus loved Judas even though he knew Judas would betray Him. Judas made a conscious decision to betray Jesus. Like Joseph with his brothers, Jesus knew that Judas meant it for evil but God used it for good.

It will be interesting to see the interaction between Simon the Zealot with Judas Iscariot, if Dallas goes down the route of portraying Judas as also a Zealot. Many theologians have theorised Judas was a zealot, partly based on what his motivation might have been for betraying Christ, and partly based on his surname ‘Iscariot’, which they say a derivation of Iscarii, ie. “dagger carrier”.

I've had 3 what I call click moments this season when I knew instantly about something that had not been explicitly revealed yet. In episode one when the mention of the road from Jerusalem to Jericho is made I knew we were about to hear about the parable of the Good Samaritan. By the time the last episodes were about to be shown we had had 10 disciples introduced so that only left Simon the Zealot and Judas yet to appear. The scene where young Simon witnesses the Roman soldier beating a Jew I knew instantly this was Simon's story. Finally with only Judas left the moment in this episode when Judas expresses qualms about the land deal something inside me said that's Judas. So his reveal from that moment on was just a matter of time for me. But guess what I would have preferred to have been surprised like you were. :)
😭😭😭 it hasn't been easy, when people are intentionally wicked and go all out to ensure you go through as much shit as possible. Painful things you will never wish on your worst enemy. I can try or decide to not hate them or hurt them, But to LOVE them... I prefer to have nothing to do with those people.
God is Perfect in Love for He is love ..we are to strive to be perfect on love like Him that we may show to be His children , love you thank you for your reactions You are a blessing more than you know God bless you

Great reaction video! Love the bloopers too. If you haven't already watched it, Dallas played an interview with Luke who plays Judas after the livestream. He is such a neat guy. God Bless!
I don't know how but when Judas and the other dude were talking to each other after they had just bought the land in the very beginning, I immediately had the thought that he was Judas
Absolutely felt your reaction to thr Beautitudes...Judas!!!!....and the end. I think the "behind the scene" point of view of the episode...was really original. This videos was so fun to watch!!! Thank you so much for sharing.
This is my favorite episode. When Jesus turns to Matthew to tell him that he is blessed because of the harassment that he was still taking from the other apostles blew me away and made me well up. I don't know what I would do if Jesus turned to me to tell me that I was blessed and that he was noticing tge good that I was doing. The moment when Judas was revealed was a real bombshell. We have an advantage over Judas and the other apostles because we all know what Judas did and what Jesus did. The actor playing Judas did a great job delivering the line because, once again, we know what he will do and he doesn't. The real question is does Jesus know already since he already predicted his crucifixion when he saw the man being crucified at the festival. At least, you get tge feeling that he knows because of the look on his face. This is the second half of the heartbreak. The actor playing Judas looks so young and innocent. So that, along with a Jesus we are all getting so attached to will leave no dry eyes during season 7 when Jesus is bloodied, beaten, scourged then ultimately crucified after being betrayed by Judas then, of course, this Judas will break our hearts even more when he kills himself.
When Judas introduced himself, I had the same reaction… I already had the next bit spoiled, and I was like nooo! But we all know there’s no way out of it…
See you in season 3. Loved all your reactions. If you get a chance, watch Leonardo Torres. He did a reaction of the chosen as well. Both of your reactions are beautiful! Glad to see your relationship with Christ bloom thru this show. Take care.
I love this reaction ❤. The Beatitudes, the accompanied scene choices and Jesus turning to Matthew get me every time 😭. I keep rewatching, rewatching the whole series really, and it's a joy to watch with others who get it or even for the first time become enamored by Jesus and how The Chosen is depicting His life and His relationships and that of the disciples. I must say that I had an inkling about Judas' character while they were in the pub, however, I do agree that I love how they are presenting him so far because Jesus had /has discernment, He would never had chosen someone outright evil, I believe, to be one of His close disciples. Though, choosing Judas may also be Jesus not giving up on him as He doesn't give up on us or stop loving us when we sin. At the same time, it shows that even though Judas had some questionable motives at the start of the episode, the fact that he is also genuine in his interest in God, in Jesus, notes the nuances of humans that even the "Judases" don't necessarily start off as "bad," but rather, we make choices and/or we open ourselves to evil and bad influences and these things can have dire consequences when we have then strayed from God and don't go to Him to find our way back 💔. Like you, I was ecstatic seeing the reunion between Simon and his wife and I also loved the scene between Mary and Jesus and Mary bringing up Joseph. We know that Jesus had to have been at least 12 when Joseph died based on the story in Luke about Jesus being in His Father's House when His parents realize He is missing. I want to know more about Joseph in this way, however, for it means he had a significant influence on Jesus' early life and very well possibly some teen years and even some adulthood years for we get a big time jump from age 12 to His baptism and ministry start at about 30. Truly, so much mystery do we have about Jesus, and yet, we have all that we need to know 🙏🏿❤. I'm so excited for season 3 and pray that God will continue to let His Holy Spirit lead this show and all connected to it in Jesus' Name 🙏🏿🙌🏾. May you and your channel also be blessed 💙!
Amen! Thank you so much for your comment, I relate to all you said about this episode and hopes for future seasons - I think they’ve done a great job so far in surprising us with small tangent stories and details that we may not have included or seen in previous biblical tv shows/media in general, I have high hopes for season 3 for sure! Also your comment saying that there is so much mystery about Jesus yet we have all we need to know is just breathtaking - He’s so awesome 😄💛 God bless ..

That's true. The stirrups were an improvement recently adopted by the 800. It was incorporated by the Carolingian and Salian dynasties, copied from the Muslims, as far as I remember (that is mentioned in Norman Cantor book on the Middle Ages)
@@jotaone that's right and thanks for the info/reminder. On a happy note 📝 I was asked a few year's ago by a kid at church "if king Arthur existed - no magic ✨ or anything ✨- would/could he have had knights in armour??" Yup... Episode 8 of season 2 is probably my favorite so far and oh boy... The introduction of Judas is so... Goddamn heartbreaking... Considering we know where his story is going... When he says he wants to do something greater than money and "be remembered throughout history...", man, it's such a punch in the gut... Because I too want to do something great and be remembered dearly by the future generations, but imagining all your dreams turning into your greatest nightmares by one big mistake? It's such a haunting image...
Definitely, thank you for watching Henrique, I’m glad you enjoyed! 😄 it is a daunting thought isn’t it? I think it’s better to not think about worldly recognition because especially when that is our goal, - the path to get there can go against God, as Judas unfortunately went through. Better to store your treasure in heaven 💎🙌🏾 God bless brother ..
If you haven't watched the interview that Dallas had with Luke Dimyan, who will be playing Judas, you should try to find it again. (It was shown after the initial livestream when episode 8 was released.) You will understand a lot about how they are going to portray Judas. It was a great interview.

I'm not a Catholic but used to play chess with an old priest (week at opening gambits. Deadly end game. Lol). He told me a story that will amuse you. An elderly fransiscan monk was guest speaker at an evangelical conference. A heckler in the audience shouted "Why do you people call Mary the mother of God?" Calmly he asked for a show of hands ✋...to the question "was she God's mother?". Every protestant pastor in the audience shot his hand in the air. The heckler was not pleased! This was the 70s (lots of dodgy protestant theology about lol). Father Murphy was a wonderful man. He worked with lots of disadvantaged kids..who all revere his memory. They've told me this privately. Another booky man like me we liked to say "oh well at least we're 😉 both trinitarian Frank/ Steve". Also a fan of good whisky 😋 lol.

Hi Zeus, as 2 Timothy 1:7 states, God doesn’t give us the spirit of fear, if making videos is something that God has called you to do as part of your purpose, pray and make supplication about it, the end goal of sharing the Gospel and reaching souls, makes the goal of monetisation dim in comparison. When you focus on what God calls you to do, and not what He calls you to gain, you’ll see things differently. Would you make these videos if no financial gain were to come of it? Sending encouragement and prayers for this matter, let me know your channel name if you start as well 😄 God bless ..

I loved your reaction to Judas. Was such fun. 😍
Aww thank you for watching Sabrina ☺️ yes, that was so unexpected! ..
😭😭😭 it hasn't been easy, when people are intentionally wicked and go all out to ensure you go through as much shit as possible. Painful things you will never wish on your worst enemy.
I can try or decide to not hate them or hurt them,
But to LOVE them...
I prefer to have nothing to do with those people.
The best reaction of all reactions! Thank you for letting us in to your experience especially with the reveal at the end! It blessed me so much!!
God is Perfect in Love for He is love ..we are to strive to be perfect on love like Him that we may show to be His children , love you thank you for your reactions
You are a blessing more than you know
God bless you
Epic reaction. So authentic and refreshing. Thanks and God bless
Thank you for watching Lois! 😄 God bless ..
I love your reactions they're exactly the same mine were when I watched the first time.
This was absolute best! 👏🏽👏🏽 Thank you for this🙏🏼 . I have a feeling they're gonna make us love or really like him, and I kinda love it but can't stand it at the same time! 😆😩
God bless you & see you on your next reaction 👋🏽🙂
Thank you for watching Earlona! What an episode 😮 I definitely can’t wait to see what’s to come, God bless ..
Great reaction video! Love the bloopers too. If you haven't already watched it, Dallas played an interview with Luke who plays Judas after the livestream. He is such a neat guy. God Bless!
Thank you for watching Regina 😄 I’ll have to check that out! God bless ..
I don't know how but when Judas and the other dude were talking to each other after they had just bought the land in the very beginning, I immediately had the thought that he was Judas
Good catch! A lot of people did 😄 but I’m kinda glad I was still surprised 😅 God bless ..
@@AkuaB ❤❤❤
For real your reaction when Judas was introduced was legit me too 😂
😶 They really tried to slide right past that so casually 🤣 ..
I keep playing Trouble lol. I love your video. You're amazing.💛
I agree, what an amazing soundtrack 🙌🏾 thank you for watching 😄 God bless ..
Absolutely felt your reaction to thr Beautitudes...Judas!!!!....and the end. I think the "behind the scene" point of view of the episode...was really original. This videos was so fun to watch!!! Thank you so much for sharing.
Aww thank you for watching Emanuela, I’m glad you enjoyed as much as I did ☺️🙌🏾 God bless ..
Season 3 ❤️
I love your reaction to the introduction of Judas.
Akua b you are so pretty ...love your show your reactions and all ..keep bringing us joy sister.
Aww thank you for watching Gabriel, all glory to God 🙌🏾 God bless ..
Are you going to watch season 3?
I loved your reaction to the revealing of Judas 🤗
The ending was 🔥🔥🔥
This is my favorite episode.
Thanks for the message my sister in Christ
When Judas introduced himself, I had the same reaction… I already had the next bit spoiled, and I was like nooo! But we all know there’s no way out of it…
Just watched s2e8 today and had the exact reaction hearing Judas' name 🤣😭 i was just like "NOOOO JUDAS NOOOO WHHYY"
You and I both were screaming at the reveal.
They ended us wanting more.
Can’t wait till season 3! 🤩 ..
Akua B, your responses/reactions give the impression that you are seeing the episode for the FIRST time. Is that a fact?
Indeed for the first time 😂 I couldn’t be more surprised about that Judas reveal 😯 ..
See you in season 3. Loved all your reactions. If you get a chance, watch Leonardo Torres. He did a reaction of the chosen as well. Both of your reactions are beautiful!
Glad to see your relationship with Christ bloom thru this show. Take care.
JESUS: What are you thinking of
Mary: your father.....
JESUS: Which one? chuckle.. s
Solid Gold
I love how His focus is always on His Heavenly Father, but also can recognise and reminisce on His earthly one ☺️ God bless ..
Ahhhh is right, my heart, wow.
@@AkuaB 🙏🏿💜💙💖
Did you see the video of Dallas interviewing the actor who played Judas?
No I haven’t just yet! There’s so much bonus content, I think I’ll have to watch these interviews as extra reactions 😄 God bless Lindy ..
@@AkuaB I am watching your reaction at 30:15... the moment when Judas said his name to Simon and Nathaniel. I so enjoy your authentic joy!!! ♥♥♥
Your reaction
"Im Judas"
😂😂😂😂😂😂
One of the most dramatic scenes yet! 🤣 God bless ..
The long list was actually all the people who came for the Sermon on the Mount scene.
I had the same reaction when Judas introduced himself to Simon
What a scene 😳😅! ..
@@AkuaB frrrr
I only got to see the outakes after your reaction, that was great.
Aww I’m glad you’ve seen them now, they were such a welcome surprise 🤣🙌🏾 ..
Mom number 1 fan.
Like all our mums.
They were in Texas for that ''sermon'' shoot and is was _FREEEEZING_ cold! SNOWING a blizzard ......in Texas! l know cuz l followed its making. You can too! lts all over YT. Just watch out for _little_ spoilers. Dallas is pretty good about that! xD
Thanks for the heads up Theresa 😂 I’ll have a gander into it! ..
I doubt the actual sermon was cold like that but in my visit to Israel it surprised me to learn snow sometimes falls there at least around Jerusalem in the winter. White Christmas indeed!
@@JohnSmith-vp4ft ~ Haha! l doubt it TOO! Especially when you read the book of John and see all the people whining about ''discomfort'', what they were going to eat, and wanting the ''miraculous'' all the time. lf they thought that they were only going to get ''words'' and it was really COLD ...so many would have stayed home! :D
Geeky moment....the Romans had no stirrups for their horses!,!!!!!!!
On a happy note 📝 I was asked a few year's ago by a kid at church "if king Arthur existed - no magic ✨ or anything ✨- would/could he have had knights in armour??" I made his day by telling him a Romano Celtic warlord could have had cataracts in shiny scale mail armour. Some of the big fights being in Somerset and Wiltshire. To try and stop the w.a.s.ps (white Anglo-Saxon pagans lol) from reaching what was once called the Severn sea. The severn estuary.
No stirrups lol.
@@jotaone meant catafracts lol
STUNNING! ... THANKS FOR YOUR CHANNEL AND REACTIONS! KENT IN OHIO
Aww thank you for watching Kent! I’m glad you enjoyed 😄 God bless ..
Thank you Akua B.
I was the same way at 30:13
I screamed like an schoolgirl. Really, I did.
😂 it definitely took me by surprise too! ..
37:36
I CALLED IT AFTER YOUR HIATUS!
Yup...
Please do not take the Lord's name in vain
Your enemies are sometimes already close to you.
If you haven't watched the interview that Dallas had with Luke Dimyan, who will be playing Judas, you should try to find it again. (It was shown after the initial livestream when episode 8 was released.) You will understand a lot about how they are going to portray Judas. It was a great interview.
You’ll enjoy my next video! 👀😄 God bless Lee ..
YES! lt hits me wave, after wave! The Word IS ALIVE! lts multi dimensional, and transcends ALL! l believe it is that way ONLY to those of us that God CHOOSES! Hence ''The Chosen'' That is TRUE ''privilege'' if you ask me! _''No man _*_CAN_*_ come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me DRAWS him .... ~ John 6:44_
The Blessed Mother is very important. Catholics venerate the Mother Of God.
Oh I love this❤️
I am so glad you had a friendship with such a holy priest who loved chess and an appreciation for whisky. You must have had some wonderful conversations, not just spiritual but about life in general😊
@@marieoleary8438 As Frank was fond of saying Irish Catholics and west highland Scotsmen like me are related although "you people lost your sense of humour for a time". I would remind him about the weather 😉...although places like Argyll can be more/as balmy as Ireland 🇮🇪. Anyway we DID have lots of wonderful conversations.
When he got ill he asked me laughing "...what do you suppose the boss will say to me?"
I told him I had no dought of the answer "welcome good and faithful servant".
Mary is the mother of Jesus, remember we celebrate that birth at Christmas? The virgin birth.
Check out Luke 1&2 read about two Miraculous births.
Are you monetised? I was thinking of making reaction videos but I was scared that TH-cam wouldn’t monetise me.
