The phone jpegs are over sharpened. Or just over processed in general. The photos look "fake" for lack of a better word. There's something about the contrast the seems inconsistent.

Are you talking about the Note 20 Ultra? If so, this is my biggest complaint with Samsung's processing. Photo's look hyper realistic. Similar to what Apple does for their iPhones. I'm not sure if Samsung has corrected it after the Note 20 Ultra with the newer S series Ultra phones. I switched to Sony afterwards.

I think you should compare it with the S24 ultra
The Note 20 Ultra is a bit old and lacks so many features from the S24 Ultra
The S24 ultra camera is also so much more mature in processing compared to the NOTE 20 ultra

I would love to compare the Canon G11 to many different smartphones but the issue is that it's difficult for me to get something like the Samsung S24 Ultra. I'm using my own or borrowing from others. Most people I know prefer an iPhone. However I did pick up a Xiaomi 13 Ultra and will do a comparison with the Canon G11 in the future!
