I love the video but I would discourage someone from using Electrical tape on any rigging. It is a big no no in the rope access/rigging industry. The adhesive contains chemicals that will break down your lanyard.
Hi im looking to getting into the sport and had a few questions! Do you have to buy a wing that is the same brand as the harness, or are they generally pretty compatible? Also, do smaller speedflying harnesses have space for a reserve too? Thanks for your help, really appreciated!

Never put electric tape on any part of your glider. The disolvents of the tap can damage it.

errk insulation tape makes a sticky mess - a neoprene sleeve or rubber bands is a better solution
not just a mess it it also keeps condensation in leading to rot ! bungee cord is best
