    Made this peach pie filling today and it was so easy. Loved the idea of the peeler. Thank you so much. My jars look great

    Oh boy there is nothing nicer than the smell of peaches in the kitchen getting ready to be preserved. Lovely

      I made nectar from the skins and pits- and oh my… the smell was out of this world!! My kitchen smelled amazing all day and night!!

    Yes ,,,,,,,I fing hate doing the x , boil, peach skin removal ! One of my least favorite things to can ,,,,, I don’t make peach pie filling though ,,,, we aren’t pie eaters here ,,,,, but looked delicious 😋

    April is such a hoot but she so right on the Chocolate Pie. That and lemon meringue is my all time favorite. I peeled my skins with the hot/cold water and put them in freezer bags. I got 12 qts from a bushel. Now to attempt the cooking of a cobbler. 🤦 Do you have a good recipe you wanna share as well?
