  • Paddleboard Places takes you down the Icicle and Wenatchee Rivers in Leavenworth, WA. We used guides from Leavenworth Outdoor Center for this tour and were so glad we did. Dave & Janine were very knowledgeable about the river, the wildlife, and the community. They showed us where to go to avoid the big rapids, and knew every type of bird and fish we saw.
What we loved most about this trip is the variety. These rivers had rapids in some spots and calm parts in others. We saw inlets, islands, lagoons, and more. This is worth the trip any time of year, but we highly suggest a guide to make it even better.
A special thank you to Leavenworth Outdoor Center for hosting us.

The greenery, trees, and mountains were so beautiful to see; I can't imagine how amazing they would look in person. That river was going pretty fast, too.

Yes, it was beautiful--almost magical. The river was fast, but manageable. What we liked most is the variety of scenery--there was an island, a sandy beach area, a secluded bay, wide open spaces and more. It was an awesome trip.

Thank you for the fantastic video featuring Leavenworth Outdoor Center and our beautiful town of Leavenworth. Stop by and see us again soon! We're nestled up against the eastern slope of the Cascade Mountains and less than two hours from Seattle over Stevens Pass.
