Things DID NOT Go As Planned | Unexpected Snow on the way to Overland Expo PNW

- On the final leg of our five week overlanding trip to Overland Expo Pacific Northwest with friends and fellow Patriot Campers owners, what we thought would be an easy overland route in the Mt. Hood National Forest turned out to be anything but.
After a plan change and re-route while Overlanding Oregon, we staged for the expo and spent a day hiking and exploring the Peter Skene Ogden Scenic Viewpoint and Smith Rock State Park in Oregon.
Finally, we arrive at the Expo, talk with Brad from TrailRecon and spend the weekend window shopping all of the incredible overland rig builds and trailers at the expo.

Nice video guys. Are you guys gonna make it to ExpoWest in Flag? As a new Patriot owner I’d love to touch base. BTW, my ears might be playing tricks on me but it sure sounds like the Jeep may have a pulley that’s getting a bit cranky.
Thank you! Yes, we’ve had the Jeep in the shop for some maintenance recently and purring perfectly now. Don’t think we’ll be at Expo West this year unfortunately, we have other commitments this year. Have fun though, it’s a blast! Thanks for watching!
Just discovered your channel and I’ll definitely be going thru past videos. From what I’ve seen so far in the three I’ve watched you guys deserve more views than you’re getting. I noticed NC plates on the Patriot. Are you guys from NC and if so how’s the trail systems out there? My son moved out there last March and I would like to bring my ZR2 out there and find some trails
