    You have a killer set up bro. I have a 4000 psi 4gpm belt drive pressure pro. Just got my 6×12 trailer this week. Can't wait until Tuesday to put it all together on trailer. I will be using a ton of your ideas on my trailer. Thanks alot for your videos

      Ricky walker thanks bro appreciate that. Next year I’m going big boy style. 6x10 trailer, adding an 8 gpm machine, bigger buffer tank, and using that 65 for chemicals. Will be building that this upcoming winter

      are u using a pump or just a gravity feed system>?

    • @mattreno-washituppressurew6834

      Raj Bains no it’s belt driven the pump does the work. Don’t need gravity with a belt driven pump. The machine pulls the water.

    Nice build. One thing I did and wether you do is entirely up to you, but I put a spin on house filter, with 50 micron screen, between the garden hose and the buffer tank. I installed it upside down so the water will drain out when not in use. That way sediment won’t get into the tank when connecting to anyone’s water supply. I run two 4 gpm machines and tank never goes too low. Nice start up trailer though 👍🏼 don’t worry, you’ll change things as ya go!

    excellent job Matt , I want to built for pressure washing trucks ,chassis and engines , me , i dont want to go that big but i like your setup, specially how neat the job is done. i have a 3000 gpm simpson and im guessing that i will need a pump to help with the flow of water to the machine, what you think , i am trying to have a part time for my retirement .

      Travis Benton thanks. Doesn’t hold up that well though. Those are individual stickers. Better off getting 1 big sticker with white background.

    I have the same tank mount the Hudson float valve through the lid and you’ll get 60 gallons when full

    Nice build. So over the past few months, are you still getting enough water to that 5.5 gpm pump being gravity fed or do you have a belt driven machine which will pull the water to the pump?

    • @mattreno-washituppressurew6834
      @mattreno-washituppressurew6834  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rob Francis thanks so much. Machine is belt driven it pulls its own pater. Definitely pulling enough with that plumbing setup. Next year bigger buffer tank, larger pluming, and adding an 8gpm machine.

    Nice setup! Curious, with the tank being strapped side to side like that do you get any movement of tank fore and aft when taking off or at hard stops?

    I see your float valve cut down the amount your tank could hold. Can you think of a way to build a stack to raise up the value.

    Nice build . The kit you purchased from pressure washer products , what size bulk head drill bit did you use for the float valve and water supply ?

    • @mattreno-washituppressurew6834
      @mattreno-washituppressurew6834  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks appreciate that. I can’t remember off the top of my head but just get a hole drill bit set and use the one that fits snuggly over the threads. I want to say my bit was 1 5/8” - 2”

    Thanks again Matt! Another helpful video Bro! I am basically following your setup. I already bought and drilled into a 65 Gallon tank but just got off the phone with Pressure Pro and he thought 65 gallon wasn't enough. Grumble! Anyway, How did that 65 gallon tank work out for you? I know you are going to a bigger setup now but did the 65 hold up? I have a 4gpm washer and planning on starting out with basic house washing SH with a DS injector.

      @mattreno-washituppressurew6834  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      joseph naclerio awesome good luck with the setup. Don’t listen to them. You will be 100% fine with the 65 gallon tank for now. Technically you do not even need a buffer for the 4gpm. You can get 4 gpm from any residential hose spicket . You will never run away from water with only the one machine. Even with the Hudson valve you are still getting 50 gallons and it was fine for me. If you get bigger machines and add another definitely will need a bigger tank, but not now.

      Glad to hear it! Especially after I already installed the float and bulk heads! Thanks for the quick reply Bro. Much appreciated!

    Do all belt drive machines pull water from the tank? Or is their a special way to plumb it

    • @mattreno-washituppressurew6834
      @mattreno-washituppressurew6834  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      All belt driven machines will pull water. That’s one of the many advantages. If your serious about washing don’t get anything other than belt driven.

    How do you like the dual feed into your pump?

    • @mattreno-washituppressurew6834
      @mattreno-washituppressurew6834  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have to be honest it doesn’t really do anything for performance, it’s supposed to help with maintaining the proper seals on the pump. Just balances it out I’m assuming. I still have it but it’s not a necessity

      All those black things are bulkheads. One is for my feed, one is for bypass.
