I love how their dialog implies that they're friends or partners and are either practicing, training, or just hanging out in their own superhero way unlike the other dialog between characters where they genuinely want to kill each other.
Unless of course their opponent has bad pizza taste

I honestly really like these kinds of pre-battle interactions. The competitive and rude dialogue just seems normal but when the characters start having pleasant conversations like that before battle, it feels more like a sparring match than an all-out brawl.
Until someone cuts another's head off.

As a Ninja Turtle fan, I must say this game captures the Turtles’ personalities perfectly.

"Master's always taught us to be polite." This right here is why I love the Turtles. I've always personally had much more respect for polite and humble warriors rather than the "HURRRR I AM THE BADDEST AND YOU ARE ALL PEONS!" type of warriors.
A real bad ass doesn't need to announce to the world that he's a bad ass.

The brothers have always been a class act. Their behavior here does not surprise me. Master Splinter would be proud of his sons.

I love how the dialogue alone recontextualizes the fights as training/sparring/auditioning without changing anything else about the game. That's some well thought out flavor text.

God...I LOVE the fact that I live in a time where Raiden, Batman, Hell Boy, and the Ninja Turtles all interact and know each other in a game. My nostalgia is off the charts, lol.

My suspicion is that he had glasses or goggles at some point, like in the 2014 and 2016 movies. They might have changed the model to the classic look without updating the animation.

@@TonyDemetriou Makes sense. Don't think that I have seen the movies, but I am pretty used to him wearing safety goggles or a welding mask pretty often. It would've made for a nice little touch removing something like that, but I guess they didn't want to make too much variation between the models for reasons.

Yes and no. Raphael's character arcs often center around him struggling to control his rage and impulsiveness. A Red Lantern Raphael would be an example of him failing to control his urges. An interesting story to be sure, but a tragic one where fails that struggle. Once someone puts on a red ring they give into their rage, and it consumes their heart. If they ever lose their anger from that point on, they die.
Raph: "I couldn't give in to my inner demons. I can't let Master Splinter down like that."
Casey: "Hey, Tinkerbell. If you're just gonna sit here crying while you get upstaged by a kitty cat, let me take a crack at it. I got some bad guys to smack."

Joker indirectly leads to Lois Lanes death and she pregnant with Supermans child
Her heart was connected to a nuclear bomb in Metropolis so when she died the bomb went off
This made Superman snap a little bit so he kills the Joker and becomes a Totalitarian Dictator killing heroes and villains who refuse to cooperate
Batman refuses to do so and escapes setting up an Insurgency against Superman
In a prison riot Damien Wayne kills Dick Grayson and becomes the new nightwing

Thanks for making a compilation picking these out. For me, most of the Turtles’ reused dialogue comes off as generic, but you really showed off some of their best interactions.

I love the implication that Batman and Splinter have a cordial relationship.
Splinter probably started fighting batman at one point while he was on patrol, thinking the guy in a bat suit was some enemy ninja, but they quickly recognized the misunderstanding and each other’s skill, so they stay in touch.
You know that Master Splinter and Alfred have an even better relationship

This gets all the stranger when you realize that their debut comic links the TMNT origin to that of Daredevil. The same canister of science goo that hit DD and gave him superpowers fell into the sewers and mutated the Turtles.
