That defense for South Carolina is legit. Nobody has blocked that defense yet. I believe that they are a legit top ten team. The problem with the South Carolina team has been offensive discipline along with terrible to abysmal play calling. That team should be 6-1 and in the top ten or at minimum top 15. Play whatever quarterback you want. The results are basically the same. Oklahoma and Texas don't have the luxury of planning a month to meet these team in a bowl game after their grueling schedule, injuries or players non-participation. They get to face legitimate defenses week after week. Look at what Georgia did Texas and one of those touchdowns, Georgia basically gave them and the refs the other. How many points did Georgia scored against Kentucky? 14 and that game they squeak out at the end. That SEC conference is on another level week in and week out.

I mean you burned both Arnold's and Hawkins redshirt years in this game so playing Thompson now doesn't make sense. We should've never gone from Arnold to Hawkins to begin with seeing how we have an experienced guy on the depth chart. This year is just OU showing us that they can't manage an offense properly in terms of who sees the field or what plays the run. Because I don't believe the best players are on the field and that showed when we brought in a true freshmen walk on WR and he actually ran routes and caught the ball. If you just now brought in a decent WR 7 games into the season I really question why you've had these others out there weekly.
