I just got the Panoptix a couple weeks ago and have used it on one trip so far and it is a game changer for sure. I went the Panoptix route because of the cost difference. I can’t wait to use it up in South Dakota in a week for perch. Then I plan to use it still in the bundle on my boat next season. With all three big electronics companies coming out with new next level stuff it should get real interesting !!
@@cody4312 I still have my flashers when fishing with other anglers we use the Panoptix to find the fish and drill holes accordingly then use the flashers to hole hop. The nice thing compared to a flasher is how much farther around your hole you can see with Panoptix compared to a flasher.
I chose the PS22 Panoptix because it is only $1500 compared to the Livescope which is $2800. Also, I’m into ice fishing a lot more than open water fishing and feel the PS22 will help me find fish just as well as the Livescope. The resolution on the Livescope looks amazing though.
Without adding pricing info in the comparison and discussion, this video is geared only to those that cost is no object. Most of us are not in that category.
I pulled the trigger this year and got the ice bundle. Absolutely love it! Came with the 93sv and lvs34 only complaint is I wish I could plug it in to a tv, any idea of the next best screen to get into that option? Thanks.

I had to figure out which one I wanted by weather I wanted to be homeless or not so I finally settled on the flx28 double vision Vexilar setup

When I picked up the panoptix it was labeled as "Panoptix livescope" so which one do I have panoptx or live scope?

Livescope is the 2nd generation of panoptix. So they are all panoptix but aren't all livescopes.

Years! probably never actually. Used in 10 years Maybe.
It is hard to say but as more companies come onto the scene we are seeing more competition and that may help to lower the costs!
