- Last week I had the privilege of fishing at Greens Lake with a bunch of awesome young anglers from the Nathalia Secondary College. We caught some lovely redfin, some of which were quite big fish.

Hey Robbie thanks for coming. I'm a bit mad I didn't catch anything but oh well might have to stick with footy haha
G'day River, it was a pleasure meeting you. I can't wait until I see you playing in the AFL and then I can go and tell everyone that I have had the pleasure of fishing with you. 👍👍

Hello rob
Rob is fishing part of the school recreation syllabus?
Mate the comment about the chip and seagull was priceless...
Hope your having a good day mate
All the best and god bless all..
😎🏴👍
Thanks Mike..haha 😂😂 Kids are so much fun..
This school has a dedicated fishing group. They are very lucky. Not all schools have this though, in fact most don't.
I hope you all have a great day mate. 👍👍
Haha love the Great Northern bag, when I was in year 12 at a Catholic high school I used to bring a Jim Beam bag to school. Took the teachers 3 months before they even realised it 😂
Hahaha love it. My daughter Holly is 14 and wears Victoria Bitter tracksuit pants. LOL 😂
Talk about falling over was in the king parrot creek slipped on the rocks landed on my backside, soaking wet. So your not the only one who falls over lol
Haha we've all done it. The older I get the more it hurts. LOL
A school in the water and a school out of the water 😂
I'm waking up to go fishing at Moreton Bay in a few hours for the first time ever. Wish me luck, haha, I'll come back and update
Sounds awesome mate, good luck. 👍👍
You really seem to love what you do Rob, another great video...Is that a paid camping area or a free camping area?
Free camping there buddy
Thanks mate, I sure do love what I do. That is a free camping site mate. 👍👍
Hey Robbie, I have a local dam near where I live here in Adelaide hills. It is filled with Murray Cod, I was wondering what lures I could use for a small dam thanks! By the way awesome vid!
Thanks mate. It's hard to recommend a lure without seeing the spot, but a small OneWell Sumo is a great all rounder, so is an old mate lure.
Thank you!@@robbiefishing
Try all your lures the fish will soon let you know what does and doesn't work😂
Caught some Small reds there last week early morning then they seem to move. out deeper caught on red lures.
Fantastic,.well done mate.
What’s your thoughts on your Sedona xt rod absolutely feel everything with them, love ya vids brings more to the water for future
Thanks mate. I lovet Sedona, it is a casting machine.
Loved the vid definitely will bring them back out for Redfin fever, yeah the rods are wind casting machines absolutely love them
I remember up in Redcliffs one time me and a couple of my mates went reddie fishing and caught around 6 or 7 all over 30cm and the guy before us got 30 all around 35cm
WOW that's unreal. Was that in the Murray? I caught a small redfin in Kings Billabong last year. I thought nothing of it until heaps of people told me how rare a catch it was. LOL
@@robbiefishing I’m afraid I can’t tell ya it’s a family secret but there are some good reddie spots at the one of the weirs in Mildura
Hi Robbie. That was sweet video.
You talked about the redfin tapping or pecking at you soft plastic.
Do you set the hook on every tap?
If not how do you decide to set the hook?
G'day mate, that's actually a very good question. When I feel the prolonged tension, and know that the fish has the lure in its mouth is when I usually like to strike.
Thank you for your reply!
I think I may have been getting taps the last time I was fishing at Lake Waihola for redfin perch.
I kept attempting to set the hook and didn't catch anything, so I presumed I kept making contact with weed.
Again, thank you for your reply, and thank you for your AWESOME videos :)
hey Robbie remember me clue the fishing shed
Haha I sure do mate. It was lovely chatting to you.
Would you let the soft plastic sink and bounce it off the bottom if you new the floor was weed?
Hi mate, no I would try and let it sink to just above the weed.
Hey Robbie what sort of boat you got
Hi mate, I have a kayak and a canoe.
hey Robbie me and my family are heading to Adelaide and on the way we are passing the murry river near the victorian and nsw border. we are going in december just after cod season starts and my family and i have never fished the murray river. we are looking at fishing around tooleybuc the town. do you have any recomendation for around that area? thanks Robbie
from Archie
love your vidoes by the way
G'day mate, I have never fished down there. But if I was going to go there I would take 2 rods. 1 baited with cheese and the other baited with worms.
Thanks so much mate.
thanks robbie your the best @@robbiefishing
"Schooling a school group on a school of redfin".
Haha that's funny, and very well though out. 🐟🐟🤣🤣
Do you put out a video everyday?
Not every day, but usually about 4 or 5 per week, sometimes 6 or 7. I hope that you are enjoying them. 👍👍
@@robbiefishing love it my favourite videos to watch are catch and cooks gives me ideas on what to cook
@@catherinekamoen6685Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm not a great cook but I do enjoy trying. Haha 😂
Robbie, you know that all kids have a belly button under their chin, especially when told to not go in too deep
Haha I noticed that. LOL 🤣
