Beautiful sound of the bells.... Wish we had more of them in Hawaii.
wow amazing sound. I would love to ring there
Beautiful!
I wish we had them out here in southern california but snobs say it can be distracting!!! I love the sound
these are in D. D is by far the most common pitch for a ring of 12.
Thank you
the sound is awesome!!!! would love that set in my church in Hawaii!!! In Hawaii, there is only one set in Oahu at St. Andrews Cathedral..
Sounds like they where rung a bit faster than they should be. I have a recording of the bells ringing in the 1910s, when New Year’s Eve ticked over.
brilliant stuff
Of course the clapper strike is delayed from when you pull a stroke, what he means is that on this video the sound has distorted from the picture and hence the ringing isn't in time with the sound
it doesnt matter all that much really. The sound quality is very good.
@24308548 They're made of a bronze alloy. If you want to hear the sound of steel bells, search 'Moseley bellringing'. They're absolutely horrendous!
12 bells plus sharp 2nd
@KDowner94 They were cast together as a 12, so they would have been tuned to match each other as well.
Sound similar to Westminster Abbey's 10
moncky2000 Even more similar to Great St Mary's in Cambridge!
+moncky2000 ikr
@@jasonburnet9181 also sound simialar to the national cathedral
sound nice! what weight are they?
12 bells in this tower
How many bells are there on this campanile?
The front 2 bells are a bit out of tune arent they! They sound better as a ten I think
