    thanks for this video. will come in very useful, I have noticed a wet floor drivers side and need to investigate. the windshield trim on my 1 series overlaps on the drivers side allowing it to lift and dirt getting in creating a gap. I am Hoping a good clean once all taken off should fix the problem. anyone any other ideas why I would have a wet floor, much appreciated.

    Is there a trick to re-install 328xi wiper cawl trim. It is not shoeing in to the base edge of the windshield?

    When you disconnect the hose bracket from the lower cowl is it simply pulling it forward? Are there no clips holding this piece in place to the cowl?

    Hey just a quick question. So i just installed a new headlight on my fiesta st and after installing it, i started the engine and then turned the headlight switch to on, then everything shut off. Now i have no power going to anything in the car, any ideas on what relay or if there is anything i should check?

      Maybe you should disconnect the battery before doing the lights🤔

    Can you remove and replace the upper windshield cowl without actually removing the bottom one?

    • @thomaskoemel
      @thomaskoemel ปีที่แล้ว

      Not very easily. The top one has an edge the fits into the bottom one.

    I have a leak dripping from under my glove compartment in an E90 328i 2008. Is it possible to have a leak from under the upper windshield cowl? Is there supposed to be adhesive holding that portion on that avoids water build up under the cowl?

      @@itsfinn9644 I fixed by applying black 5200 silicone around the base and sides of the windshield. There seems to have been some gaps in the windshield sealant.

      Have to make sure that you keep the back side pressed down as you slide it back in.
