2 liner Mix episode two. Mint, Volt 4, Photon, Artik-R

This is a long video, from many days of flying, with multiple EN-C 2-liner gliders. Mainly it's a video for fun with some little footage to see them in the air and won't show much of their efficiency.
when the conditions throw at you some kind of punishment for all those new 2 liners, with wind-tricky thermals, and heavy air, the most 'efficient' one will show its potential. And from my personal view, this is the most important feature to look for in a glider if you want o compete. You can see it in my 2 liner C comparison table. (regulary updated) Happy flights.

I found the Mint very nice out of these 3 as well. Most comfortable and best handling. Maybe not the top performance, but handling on difficult climbs is worth a lot.

Great video.
Amazing to fly over the beautiful hills of lebanon, especially the Jounieh Bay.
A cross country video would be amazing but I know there are also a lot of out of hand limitations.
I was in Lebanon one month ago. Hopefully next time I’ll be able to join you flying and gain some experience from you.

Ziad, please compare wings of different class it will be very interesting, for example glide of Artik R and Peak 6 with a light headwind with and without speed

Thank you. I already did that and I'm thinking of upgrading my 2 liner C comparison with other D's in one comarison. Now the only glider in the 2 liner C that could stand with some D's is the Photon. and it is done ! :-) See 2 liner MIX comparison.

Yes, there's a big difference between a Photon and an Alpina 4 in real life conditions. Not in calm air, but in gliding through difficult air.
The Photon will surely Prevail.

Any sign of Swing Libra Ziad? I tried Photon Mint & Libra, and I'd have the Libra, mostly because they all felt so close, that I might as well have the one with RAST.

Bonjour Ziad. Je vole aujourd'hui en thermique avec une mentor7 xxs (j'adore) et j'ai aussi la petite photon xs pour les waggas a la plage (la petite est bien joueuse !). Je me demandais si c'est envisageable de passer sous la photon en thermique apres quelque temps sous la mentor. Ou faudrait-il une voile plus intermédiaire 😅 ? Merci beaucoup pour les tests, ça m'a énormément aidé !

Étonnant de voir toutes ces 2 lignes finalement assez proches, avec des constructions, plans de suspentage et perfos très comparables. Vers une standardisation des modèles par classe ?.

C’est une bonne idée de faire ce comparatif entre 2 voiles de performance mais de grâce annulez cette musique pénible qui masque partiellement le chant du variole .
