- In today's home vlog we take down the Christmas tree and put everything and all the furniture back where it goes so that we can get started on the nursery! This is such an exciting time! We start by getting everything out of the room where we though the nursery would go, (we changed that at the last minute lol) but we got everything out of there and started picking some items for the nursery at Target. We also got Jackson some baby dolls, he's been asking for them ever since Christmas so we found some twins and he was so excited to be big brother to them and take care of them. It was so cute. We also talked about the theme of the room, so we're getting closer to being almost ready, which is awesome! We hope you had fun hanging out with us at home! Me too! I’m old enough to remember a time when it would have been very common for parents to discourage a little boy from playing with dolls. I’m so glad we live in a time where that is less prevalent. I love that Jackson wanted baby dolls.

Awww...love Jackson and his baby dolls! It reminds me of a song- Do you remember the old children's album Free to Be You and Me? There's a song on there called "William's Doll" about a little boy whose parents give him all the best stereotypical boy stuff to play with but all he keeps asking for is a doll to love. It's really sweet.

When my son was Jackson’s age and still loved his pacifier at bedtime, someone gave us a tip to cut the tip of it off just a bit when he’s not looking. He got into bed, put it in his mouth and promptly took it out declaring it’s broke. He never asked to use it again. Good luck!
You can call the baby brother and Jackson will call him brother and when the new baby gets bigger he can call Jackson his buddy.
I love watching Jackson with his babies. It reminds me of my son when he was 2 his baby sister was born. He would wrap his doll or stuffed animal with a blanket and feed them or burp them or put them to sleep.

Can I give a hint or a suggestion on how to keep the ghost costume from slipping. Add a headband, glue a headband under the sheet so it doesn't move or cut off the bill of a hat and glue the hat to the under side of the sheet. Most importantly, I thought you all looked great!

Feel better soon, Jenn!!! We were sick with the flu during the holiday season. Definitely no fun. So, we didn't decorate as much as we usually do either. Your house looks fine, and is beautiful!!! You have a smart, busy kiddo, and your place is so clean with him being so active. No worries. The new baby's room is going to be so cute!!! And, Jackson is going to be a great little, big brother!!!

As far as Jackson`s toy`s are concerned, this is an exercise i used to do in separating them and it worked wonder`s. I used to halve his toy collection put his older toys he didnt play with much in a pile, and his newer toys in another, the older toys i would put into storage for a good 6 mth`s and i would rotate them 6 mthly, i was guaranteed that he had forgotten what was not there anymore, and every 6mth`s it was like a new set of toy`s appeared for Niko to play with, also when he actually cottoned on to what i was doing, he was happy to give his old toys away to children that would love them as equally, it was a real win win situation all round. It`s a great lesson for children to know how to share with children less fortunate than they are.

Tim, highly recommend seeing a chiropractor! If your knee is out of alignment it can cause your hip to go out too!

I remember I started watching you guys while pumping for my first born, who is 1 month older than Jackson. You guys had just brought Jackson home and couldn’t figure out how the weeks/ months worked when counting their age 😂 We went through the same stages of figuring out parenthood, breastfeeding, newborn madness and lack of sleep. When I had my second one, I went back and watched some of the old videos again. I’m SO excited for you both and welcoming the new baby to the world! ❤

Better idea, put Jackson in the new room and have him pick stuff out for it, and then put the baby in Jackson's room, as it is already set up as a nursery.
We asked him if he wanted a new room but he said he wanted to stay in his room. :-)
