I first saw these lovots in a Video from Japan about an elderly people's home. They were introduced there to keep the company of the (lonely) senior people there. And it worked well. 🙂👍 So now someone has come up with a lovot Café idea. 😃 Great. 🙂👍
Freak's Store. Love this name. My personal favorite named store was found near Kintetsu Nara Station, the Ok-est Store. Not the best, not the worst, but the OK-est store. I had to stop and snap a pic of the genius of this name. Cheers!
Love the lovots, they are so cute. A nice alternative to pets for a certain kind of person and definitely a great alternative to animal cafes. For me, nothing will ever beat looking into the eyes of an animal who know who you are and loves you with their entire being. I miss my rats so much and can't wait until I can get a dog.
It’s basically just said to have really bad “public safety”…so crimes, yakuza, bikers, etc 👻 really it’s just limited to a small part of the city but the reputation is pretty widespread 😅
The “Kawasaki is dangerous” thing is really a thing of the past. Many families have moved to this side of Kanagawa so it has become a lot safer. Shinjuku, Kabukicho etc. is not safer than Kawasaki 😂

On my first trip to Japan in 2018 my friend and I came across that shop in Ginza by accident where they had a robot dog. It was called Spark, had a cute little collar ribbon and you could also pet it. It was so so cute and I loved it. So those lovbot would be totally my thing to. They are just cute, period 😊 And Kawasaki looked actually pretty nice. Why does it have a bad reputation? I actually thought about getting an apartment there during my study trip because rent seems reasonable there. Could you tell me what’s so bad there?
I think the lovots are cute and can see how they could help combat loneliness. I'm curious how much they weigh? The animation of the eyes is really endearing. I'm very happy for you that you found a Hollister store! I'm ready for fall, too. Did you do anything fun for Halloween?
Hi Allison I thought the lovots were fun, in a way they’re like incredibly advanced tamagotchi’s 😊 the guinea pigs were brilliant (we have a russet/ginger female) and the little baskets for them to sit in a good idea to prevent ‘mishaps’ 😂 no need apologise for being busy, quality content is always worth waiting for. Autumn is in full swing in England/UK so the colours of the trees are stunning at the moment. Best wishes

My oldest sister had 3 Guinea pigs growing up & they were so soft 😊 they did poop a lot tho, lol.

They are actually not that heavy! About the same weight as a dog that size maybe? And no, no Halloween activities this year :(
