  • Gold, Silver, and Ivory Tucked Away In A Hoarders Warehouse From Storage Unit Finds
That's right! I show you the ivory stash I found from an abandoned storage unit, and we search through a box from the gold and silver storage unit we bought over a year ago and found more gold and silver along with a hoard of other jewelry tucked away in my hoarder warehouse!

Jason, my husband and I sold at the flea marts for like 13 years, and we used to use banana boxes to store everything in. They have open handles, they're uniform in size, and they're strong enough to stack really high. We stored the really good stuff at home in plastic containers and everything else in boxes in a storage shed. When we weren't selling, we were buying, from thrift stores, yard sales, garage sales, etc. We occasionally bought a storage shed and hit it pretty lucky with ONE, finding over $700 in cash in amongst boxes of books and magazines. We had thrown a lot away before discovering the money, so who knows how much we may have thrown away before discovery.

Hello, most of them are called Neikse sorry about the spelling, the holes are for threading through a piece of fine rope and hung on Chinese clothing. You must be careful about trying to sell ivory that is after the date when it became illegal. So please make sure that you do not try to sell them or you will be fined and they will be confiscated. That is the law in Britain Australia and worldwide I am sure.
So please be careful. All the best and good luck. Pixie 🧚‍♀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺 36:23

Yes Legendary Papa needs to stay in the house and stay safe. That's what we're doing here in Ohio my mom's not but two minutes away from me but I cannot go and see her and she's been ill anyway. I've been directed by my doctor to stay in the house for my health reasons so I'm doing so as much as I possibly can. There are those times that you just absolutely can't help but to go out and get what you need or go to the doctor if you have appointments. But other than that I'm staying here and stay and put bored out of my mind LOL

Well congratulations on the new baby! sorry about having to close the thrift store but believe me I totally understand! I was so sick with my first one that I had to quit a job and I was so so with my second one so I told the lady that I was working for which just happened to be a nurse in my doctor's office, that when the kids get out of school that I would be staying home and not watching them anymore. She had about four months to find somebody else. I also told her though that if that person was sick or had days that they needed off that I would be able to come down and help her out and watch the kiddos. So it all worked out in the end.

Beautiful pocket watch. If gold, value won't be in thousands though - more like $350 absolute max in a nice shop. If not running (most are not) and not gold (99% are NOT gold), the value is more like $125 to wear as a pendant. Still a beautiful piece of vintage jewelry. Very few pocket watches are of great value unless they are VERY expensive brands or very heavy gold. To get an idea of realistic value, check ebay sold listings and read a few of the descriptions (or at least titles) of listings that sold high.

The ivory items are netsuke pronounced netski and were made to fit on purse laces as kimonos did not have pockets so purses were secured. Often carved on all sides so can be viewed from any angle. I'd check up on the age of the ivory as older ivory is o.k. but newer ivory comes under CITES limitations in some countries. ( Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species ) of Wild Fauna and Flora. Nevertheless good quality netski are very valuable. The best ones have rats on them and are considered to be very lucky in Japan. Good luck and best wishes to papa.

The 10k ring looks to be blue topaz. The pocket watch is more than likely gold, very old company. Their watches go for thousands. The back part that you opened (side that doesn’t have the watch face) is for mechanical maintenance and there should be a serial number in there all numbers I believe under the letters I didn’t get a good enough look though (eating dinner while watching). When you open and close the pocket watch please be sure to press in on the button as you’re closing it you don’t want to hear it snap close as it will wear out that latch
