Destiny: Outbreak Prime vs King's Fall Raid!

- Testing out the Outbreak Prime Exotic Raid Pulse Rifle in the classic King's Fall Raid for Destiny!
The Outbreak Prime was introduced into Destiny with the Rise of Iron Expansion as the Exotic Raid weapon for the Wrath of the Machine Raid, and I wanted to see how good it would be in King's Fall in all the main encounters: Warpriest, Golgoroth, the Daughters, and Oryx!
There was also some really interesting findings about the Outbreak Prime, and it's Nanites, just like there was with the Gjallarhorn damage and wolfpack rounds!

I think I know why oryx glitches out
he gets jealous of the new raid weapons (because they're way better than KF weapons)
Just imagine if they brought ALL the raids up to current light level (obviously fixing the major exploits and problems with Crota). That would be AMAZING. I loved Word of Croat, fatebringer, found verdict, that pulse rifle that never dropped

Outbreak Prime has sign of four as a hidden perk
What does "sign of four" do?
+Jdniscool Every fourth burst deals bonus damage (provided you landed the previous 3) it's on the raid legendary pulse rifle.
It's tough to gain the right results when you don't do it right. The first screenshot there is 5 number, 1092 1092 1638 1101 142.
4 DISTINCT numbers.

plus to calculate Destiny Damage you gotta factor Close to long range... :)
Other games don't have the code for that... so your just doing the same damage at any range
Call of Duty, Arma, Squad, Battlefield, DayZ and Destiny ( the only games I know most) have the exact same Code but it all works differently,
But Kackis I wanna know what weapons you think need buffing?

Pretty sure light level does make a difference, even after you pass the enemy level. It used to take something like fifteen slams to kill crota on hard, now it takes closer to six.

it counts for damage taken from enemies, relic damage, and ability damage

It was funny doing the WoTM normal mode raid and 5ppl in the lobby needed the Outbreak, all from LFG - no connection to each other - when we entered the black diamond room - they all pulled youtube vids - I could hear them in the background through voice chat, 4 of them pulled your video because it was the easiest and most to the point explained - I was laughing my ass off when I heard your voice in the background from 4 different guys, shows - when you make quality content, keep making quality content, the world WILL recognize your efforts. my heartfelt thanks to you, you have made me well informed to enjoy this game better. I hate buggies damage scaling bullshit!! There is no way in hell that I should be able to be killed by a lvl 4 dreg or shank when I'm lvl 40 and 400 light !!!!!

all they would need to do is alter the rewards to be able to be infused and all the old raids would remain useful
yeah i have actually noticed this as well on shield cabals, when the nanites spawn from shooting the shield with 4 bursts they suddenly move about 10/20 feet towards the side. depends when they come across a wall

I would love for them to upscale all the raids before Destiny 2 releases. That way I'll actually have a reason to torture myself through Vault of Glass again, haha.

I was doing Oryx yesterday and he kept glitching so much, even though no one (maybe one person, idk) was using Outbreak prime. he kept freezing and we had random deaths. we also set off the blight orbs, but his health didn't deteriorate

Honestly the oryx raid is still relevant because the guns and gear are still awesome and now easier to get and you can infuse them into higher gear

I used outbreak in kings fall a few days ago. it's not bad at all, it's actually really good against ads, but black spindle and touch still reign supreme, in my opinion at least
Outbreak Prime has a hidden perk (sign of four)on it similar to the raid pulse rifle, Steel Medulla
I think that the Kings Fall Raid is better than the new. Just the jumping parts are just the best. Jumping from ship to ship, and i feel it needed more tramwork to complete. Much more mechanics in all the bosses in Kings Fall.
Aka i hope they increase the light of that raid so we can do it as it was in TTK.
I've noticed that oryx is a pretty glitchy boss fight one time we were at the very end when you need to finish him off then that dark bubble spawned and killed everyone the another time i was running and whenever I would touch some platform I would go through
Look how much better Outbreak looks in D1. Little siva clouds swarming the gun, the colour of the gun is Black, not some greenish black like in D2. They need to fix it!!!

do not forget that siva mites has to be clouding the gun to proc, it has a charge time
Kyle Chaplain that's only for the precision KILL nanites. The intrinsic perk has no cool down, that's why it's such an effective gun.
you know that there is a buff when your light is higher.. example.. crota took two rotations when with the hoger light took one down whick mean the light level advantages makes it higher damage as compared to the cosmodrone it is diffrent your a really big diffrence in light which causes the debuff in damage... but i loved the vid dont get me wrong

The outbreak prime has the "Sign of four" perk as intrinsic, it's the same as the raid pulse :)

I tested it, but I believe Datto has also tested this
Randal The Vandal as Princess Pepe said, Datto showed it. It always happens on the 4th burst when the requirements (that I don't recall) are met to deal extra damage.

everyone know Black Spindle, Sleeper, Touch of Malice and Raze Lighter + Any high impact scout + Qullim's Terminus are the best weapons for KF nothing can beat them it's the perfect load out to make KF a walk in the park

im fairly sure that some numbers sometimes stack up (like in shotgun spreads it happens a lot, you get one big number instead of the usual lots of smaller numbers) so the 1600's could be a few nanites damage stacking on a bullets damage?

You should try the raid legendary pulse rifle. It should be a lot easier to calculate and I'd bet with golgoroth it will do more damage as the fourth burst just does more damage and it doesn't require the little diva rounds to do so so every shot will hit the crit area.

I'm wondering, since when we got from 320 to 335, we noticed a big increase in damage using the ToM (daughters and oryx) Did the damage increase a little more when you were even higher? I know that you don't become overpowered, but I thought that since the ennemies are level 41, that you would be able to deal more damage, even as you go higher than their light level, since being 41 vs 40 makes you deal less damage in the first place. Don't know if that makes sense.
Given WoL gives a 1.35x damage boost, plus a tether... I reckon you could have at least taken the Warpriest to

Even though both raids are amazing, I thought the buildup to killing oryx was much higher, and you knew it was time. In wotm you don't know who aksis is, and that make it better for me.
