OLD STYLE Collector Struck by LIGHTNING may be saved by BEER CAN in Chicago?

- We visit the amazing Heileman’s Old Style and Special Export collection of Brian and Nicole Spaeth and hear about the time he was struck by lightning holding what he now calls his lucky can. Many of their beer signs and collectibles are antiques that they found at Beer Shows, Flea Markets, Garage Sales, Auctions or just networking with other collectors.

Amazing video, I was lucky enough to be invited there not long ago, with a few other OS enthusiasts. We enjoyed their hospitality & I was blown away by their creativity in displaying so much stuff in a relatively small area. Visiting with some younger collectors like Brian & Nicole is really vital in keeping this great hobby moving forward. I'm really glad that OS is making a comeback here in the Chicago area & newer collectors are interested in the beer that their Dad drank many moons ago.

Being from Pennsylvania, we never got Old Style. I must say for some reason I'm drawn to the Old Style logo, it's always nice when I get to add a new piece of Old Style to my ever growing breweriana collection. Really wish there would be more breweriana shows in central PA. Great video Ken! Cheers 🍻

For some reason in my whole 62 years old life experience. I see in general an average blue-collar guy seems to enjoy life, whatever hobbies it might be. but a person w/ money might /might not have a hobby, but they are much more uptight about life. here in NYC in one year only ones in the news - must have 10 suicides from luxury neighborhood / buildings & these people have millions. maybe they should start collecting beers stuffs. not trying to be funny. thanks for the show.
