Thanks for the Comment Rob. Totally agree when it comes to the value of something. I always say another big factor of value is how many potential buyers you are willing to put in front of your item for sale. A garage sale item will be seen by few, but a big auction like this or bringing it to 15 Beer Shows will be seen by many qualified buyers which will fetch a bigger price. If we look at supply and demand, the supply continues to be slim (because people don't want to get rid of their collection) and vintage stock is being discovered less and less, the supply is fixed or decreasing. As long as the demand is stable or increases and inflation continues, I think these prices will continue. Breweriana is also an asset investment rather than an expense.

Glad you enjoyed it. Take into account, some of these items got lucky. There might have been only 2 people in the world who wanted that item and they just bid each other up. If one of those people wasn't there, the price would have been way less. It doesn't necessarily mean the items will fetch that price at anytime. How much effort and how many qualified buyers you put your item in front of will determine the price you can get as well.

I try to show a good representation of the brands that were at the show. If you saw a lot of Schlitz, it is probably because we were just outside Milwaukee.

I was really surprised to get that minty thing at that price. Needless to say, I'm very happy. 1957 is my favorite Schlitz stuff.
