I hope you have fun with the new synthetic ascension. I was really hoping to see cybernetic since it's unique to Driven Assimilators. But maybe that's just because it isn't good. I've been trying to play it but every time I go to war and assimilate I always go bankrupt. Anyways, good videos.

The big resource hit when you start assimilating is a challenge. You either need to anticipate the income you will need ahead of time or have enough resources stockpiled that you can weather through it. Keep with it and don't get discouraged if you lose. Start again or reload a save keeping in mind the lesson you just learned
