So random, I was watching this film at 3am this morning 😆 and before I watched, I looked on your channel for a review! The frustration is REAL for this film hahaa! I hated it. But how the hell does your description sound so much better!? Ha!
if there aint some weird incestuous backwoods creatures/humans tryna eat u and fuck u up at the same time, then it aint a wrong turn film :P that being said i did really like this film, it should've just been called 'the foundation' though as it doesn't fit in with the canon.
Exactly my major issue with this movie is that there wasn’t any incestuous backward creatures/humans I did not like the whole Amish type of community thing. 8/10
So many people liked this one, but it was just too silly for me. I know we are supposed take the Foundation seriously but I found them laughable. Also, the plot holes were just too much for me. If the whole town knows about the foundation, why didn’t all the townsfolk who eventually assisted Scott in getting his daughter back just tell the hikers from the beginning that there is a cult in the woods that sets traps if you leave the trail? Also, maybe the local cops would be too scared to help, but Scott could have called staties or the feds in once he knew the situation. Beyond all that, how does the rolling log in the forest manage to miss hitting every tree in the forest, but squashes that one guy as if it were a gay-seeking missile. I just couldn’t with that...
I legitimately hated this film. It's a shame cause it was the most anticipated movie for me this year till now. It's so disappointing😞 Can't even call it a 'Wrong Turn' movie.

@@liquidignition I expected it to be the new 'Wrong Turn' franchise film because it was billed and marketed as one. If it's not Wrong Turn then you shouldn't name it Wrong Turn. I don't think viewers are to blame here.

I didn’t love this film and was so annoyed by so many parts. The part where they find the young man tied up and are supposedly trying to help could have been avoided had they spoken in English so the group would know they were trying to help. Apparently they know English, so despite having their own language, they could still communicate and understand. I think the best part was the end where she killed then in their RV.
Not a fan of this franchise...but I’ll probably watch it because I’m a diehard horror movie fanatic. Great review, thank u, guys👍🏼👍🏼

I loved the movie as a fun standalone popcorn flick. There was no need to tie it to the original Wrong Turn. It was super creepy on it's own
This movie was trash. It was a rehash of midsommar in the most basic form possible. I also knew that the gays , even though were visible in this, would also have the less screen time. And wtf was with killing the gay the end because he was blind. Wtf. Same tropes same dumb stupid ending. Not a fan as you can of this one. Different title may have been better instead of a reboot.
