BMW advertised 0-60 times and HP numbers are not close to reality. This thing will do a flat 4.0 seconds to 60 without even using launch mode. Weighing over 4400 pounds, and doing some math, you would need closer to 450 hp to do that. This thing is a beast
It is 👍
Test drove one recently, insane power for an SUV. Was putting a smile on my face the whole time.
They are awesome 👍
Great review Anthony. The engine and exhaust sound so nice and the looks and interior are awesome. Hoping that you are doing great!
BMW makes an awesome vehicle and giving a sweet spot between the m. Thanks James 👍
You are welcome Anthony and yes they do. I had an X5 for about 10 years and it was a tank..so solid Have a good one! @@HawkeyeRides
So difficult to find the black on red combo
Such a nice vehicle
The m40i is awesome
Can someone tell me if the red interior cracks or gets damaged easily over time? Thank you
In my brothers Bimmer he has not had any cracks but lines will come from where a person seats.
@@HawkeyeRides as long as it doesn’t start cracking, the creases will come with a lot of leatherette seats
I bought the 2021 X3 M40I fully loaded and I love it.
Congrats they are awesome
Does it have a remote start feature? Either way seems to be best bang for the buck in performance SUV!
Yes it does 👍
@@HawkeyeRides they seem to be hard to find on the lot in my area!
@@andrewcapone3345 search online, my team here seems to keep one or two on the lot even though they sell them quick.
@@HawkeyeRides where are you located?
@@andrewcapone3345 they are in Wesley chapel Florida
What’s crazy is the Mazda inline 4 engine has more power than the BMW inline 4. HOWEVER, the new in-line 6 turbo S has similar power figures as this
Mazda makes a good vehicle but performance on the x3 is one of the best
@@HawkeyeRides somehow it has more torque power then the turbo Mazda yet Mazda has a higher torque reading. I don’t get it
You must not be in the united states. The adaptive suspension is standard but the m40i does not come with the M sport differential unless you option it in the states
I am in the US the full sticker is on the first 2-15 seconds 👍
I find that some tiny electronics is lazy. I can get a sweeter steering position with a manual, compared to SUVs I’ve driven with electric. I don’t mind adjusting the thigh extension manually either. I remember being in an S Class 20 years ago and the rear view mirror had a switch in the center console , instead of simple raising your arm to fix it…LAZY and not necessary. I have a ‘23 X3 M40i totaled out at $70K and tax in CA. was another $10K, yes $80K total drive off the lot with discounts too.
Thanks for sharing the pricing and experience
Not enough of these are built with ventilated front seats, almost impossible to find.
That is true but this dealership seems to almost always order the Bimmer correct 👍
I own this suv. It will do 4.0 to 60. Secondly a new gts in my area is 110k the x3 is 72k. You buy an x3 m comp and pocket 20k.
Congrats for owning it here is the specs from bmw it’s not 20k differents either and I only go by what the company says for 0-60 speeds as everyone will get a different time 👍

RDX was out. 😁😁
Yeah this is a little bit more powerful 😁
@@HawkeyeRides oh yeah. RDX can hang with a stage 3 but the transmissions will still come into play hence BMW
This doesn't compare to a Porsche Macan. The Macan has power everyhing, heated , ventialted seats, much nicer interior.
It does and the Porsche Macan doesn’t come standard with everything. It has manual cushion extension, upgraded sound systems, pay extra for leather, extra for heated rear seats etc. This is a better performance option for the money. I like Porsche they make a great vehicle but facts or facts 👍
Had a ‘24 and got rid off it as soon as I could. The ride is bouncy and unsettling even with the adaptive suspension and the wind noise above 50mph is the worst of any premium suv. Stay away from this crap.
Thanks for your buyers insight 👍
I have a feeling the dealer never removed the spring stops for transport purposes. Cause I’ve watched many reviews and they said this rides better than the full M X3.
@@MarkCalica no it was PDI
@@HawkeyeRides I’m not talking about the car you reviewed. I’m talking about the guy who had one that had a bad experience. Look up. I heard lots of stories how some dealerships fuck up their PDI’s
@@MarkCalica Had spent 3-4 months taking it around to different dealerships to see what’s wrong. So if it was something of that sort it would have been found in that time. Yes, x3M is stiffer, but its relative, drive the x40i and then a m340i sedan with the same adaptive suspension and you will understand. They f’d up the ride to make it drive like a sedan.
dont like rear tail lights and interior layout - the 2025 looks way better - wait for that
Thanks for your insight 👍
Whens the 2025 come out?
@thaAMAZNblue1 should be in the next few weeks, I was at BMW today and they didn’t get me an eta other than that.
