Dr. am, I truly enjoy your YT videos and the many meaningful suggestions. I'm 71 yo (in October), and have a multitude of spinal issues (DDD, sites of Stenosis [L2, L3, L5-S1; C4-C7], Disc bulges AND Dextroscoliosis of 25 Degrees. I suffered a fractured femur in 1966 (at 15 yo), playing HS Football. That resulted in a 1 inch shorter right leg - the left leg grew, the righ leg did NOT. It was left unaddressed by the Ortho doc and my parents at that time. After 15 years or so, the misery started to take effect. Lower back pain / stiffness ensued and took hold. Slow downhill descent from there - hips out of alignment (now arthritic), SI joints inflammed, problems that stem to the Top of My head. Cervical Instabilities are contributing to major havoc to my well being: Tinnitus, TMJ, Chronic Sinusitis, Occitipal pain and headaches, IBS /GERD, and even bladder /bowel incontinence (on and off). Terrible neck stiffness, cricking & cracking, shoulder pain , radiculapathy and Carpal Tunnel in both wrists (worse in the Left , and I'm right handed). A Spinal Surgeon (I've been to 5 different ones) at Mt. Sinai in NYC, during his exam told me: "many doctors discount Scoliosis..... It can affect many functions in the body as it affects the nerves to various organs. My conditions affect my breathing / diaphragm and has damaged my peripheral nervous system too. I've been to 6 different Chiros including Upper Cervical Chiro with litlle help after many sessions. Acupuncture did very little after 40 sessions. Dr. Mike is Excellent in his desciptions of the affects of Scoliosis. I started to ardently pursue relief after many years of Just Dealing With It in 2012. The first cervical & lumbar MRIs revealed much. Especially, in the Cervical MRI.... the radiologist's report cited that I have a more Narrow than Normal Spinal Canal!!. I gotta beleive that with the other maladies are Squeezing my spinal cord, invoking pressures to the nerves (The VAGUS Nerve for sure !!), causing and contributing to the misery of Chronic pain & stiffness cycling with chronic anxiety / depression. How Do I find a Dr. Mike near me??? Westchester County, NY .

Forgot to add: Systemic Inflammation in the body is prevalent. A 52 year in practice neurologist I visited, told me that the Disc Bulges at L2 and L3 - both Bulge into the front and the back of the spinal canal....May cause stomach problems. You Betcha he is right, despite the GI doctor saying No. You must Do Your Own Research and Digging for help. The standard doctors just Get 'em , and Get 'em out. Take a Pill for the Ill.

What do you recommend for adults in their 20’s.

Hi! I recommend the CBP technique. You can find a chiropractor by going to www.idealspine.com and going to their doctor's directory:
      idealspine.com/directory/
These are corrective chiropractors and can help with sagittal curve correction.
Also, your core must be strong and worked regularly FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE....it's just what you do.

An adult of 56 obviously can’t be braced. Are our only options drink water, exercise, take our vitamins and get sun at this point?

Great question. You CAN correct the sagittal curves at this point but not the scoliotic curves. So, a corrective chiropractor that does CBP or Pettibon would be beneficial. These docs do before-and-after x-rays and give you wonderful home care exercises. Besides that, a very strong core is your best defense. Plank, side plank, bridges, Pilates, etc are not optional extras. Like my 6 year old daughter just told me yesterday, "You git what you git. So, don't throw a fit" : ) ...Just git strong!

So glad you are doing well symptomatically. I would get under chiropractic care and make the best of what you have. I would not expect to get your scoliosis corrected at this point. However, getting your head over your shoulders, your shoulders over your hips and your hips over your ankles with good sagittal curves would be ideal and realistic. Check out the CBP technique. You can find a chiropractor by going to www.idealspine.com and going to their doctor's directory:
