This is the voice right here. It sounds so perfect. It should be a baseline for every black album AI cover. And the instrumental Tones are pretty damn close to the Black album.
This one is on the same level as the Seasons Gone remake! also, while you on a Black Album grind, "I Thought I Knew It All" or "Black Curtains" (Megadeth) would be a crusher with this tone!

The only other tweaks I would do would be just a _bit_ more reverb on the drums, and I would maybe layer the guitars like 2 more times, then bury the hell out of them so they're just a background presence. That's part of why the TBA guitar sounded so huge.

One of my favorite Metallica covers. So heavy. I prefer the Garage Days version. The drums on your AI version sounds very off. Way too low production. The guitar also sounds off. James sounds good, about again, he sounds even better in 1987.
