I love this since I'm 16 years old - great music!
Belle musique introspective.
Absolutely one of my favorite albums of all time.
Thanks for this!
Excellent album
Charlie Mariano was so excellent with this super fine band. I have at least three copies of this LP "Yellow Fields", and I believe, the CD in the ECM box set.Thanks so much for the post, Suha Önder.
@dalewilliams8001 you're welcome. Enjoy good music 🎶✌️
Fine music!
yes. It’s really timeless. After all these years it still sounds fresh. Truth be told this sound owes as much to Rainer Brüninghaus as to Eberhard. And it’s hardly been done again since either.
when I came upon The Colours of Chloe back in ‘75 or ‘76 I felt like Cabeźa de Vaca or Francisco Pisarro must’ve felt setting foot in the “New World”. I mean, how do you describe seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time ?? And not for just Your first time, but for the first time YOUR RACE has ever seen it ? Actually that might be a Bit Overstated, but you know what I mean….
Marvellous. And so fresh after all these years. Charlie Mariano was a genius.
Metheny took this sound and ran with it! EW was a rare visionary.
still love his work!!
So beautiful! 🥲
