Great journey and I am sure you gonna do well in St G. Amazing what you have achieved.

Great video Ruth. It shows what great perspective you have gained from being an amateur with a full-time job to now being a professional. You need time to train hard but you also need time to fully recover. Fullitime working amateurs can't do both

Unrelated, I finally remembered where that intro song is from. The initial part is 24 to 6 (or something?) by Chicago, at least sounds like it 😂. Then next part is new.

interesting info. Recovery is an important topic that doesn't really get much attention. I guess it's just more interesting for channels to put out info around training detail. With the recent news from Lucy Charles-Barkley, I guess the pros might be paying a lot more attention to recovery now...but, come on Ruth, with no Lucy and Brownlee and Joe Skipper having less that stellar performances last weekend, the brit flag is falling heavier on your shoulders now, I'm sure you can lift it.

Hi Ruth, how did you approach your recovery from covid?

I just took it really easy - approached it similarly to any other illness. I was lucky in that I wasn’t very I’ll with covid, was just like a bad cold, so had a few days of not doing very much and then eased back into it

@@Reastle1 thanks, glad to hear it was mild for you. I’m just coming to the end of my isolation, haven’t been too bad myself, just mindful of restarting training too early!
