I am about to turn my 1st home into my first rental property. My biggest fear is setting it up wrong. I have 2 weeks to get it 100% done
You Can certainly do it. And I think you'll be fine. The biggest thing I can say is be wise and careful when choosing who you're going to rent to. Also, analyze the space to make sure you're monetizing every aspect of it. Thank you.

In my marketplace rent to own is rare and the only times I've ever seen it has been for family exceptions. In which the family member does a rent-to-own of the property to another family member so that that member has the opportunity to buy the family home in the future.
Great video, I plan to start a rent to own business one day. My only question is in regards to the predetermined purchase price. When do I let the tenant buyer know the pre-determined price of the property for future purchase? At the beginning of the process when signing the lease and option agreements or once their term is up and they are ready to purchase? You may have stated this in the video when you said “at a later date” but I just want clarification.

I was looking to but a home. But once I contacted a lender he said my debt to income was to high because of my car note. I found a rent to home home and I scheduled a viewing soon. Hopefully this is a good option for us . I’ve never owned a home before

Thank you. For Rent to Own, you dont need credit. For rent, it depends on the rental amount, and also the terms of the rent to own contract, please make sure you're not paying way over the market rent. Will it be better overall, and most important, what happens if the landlord breaches the contract, do you get your money back? Just make sure the terms are not just in their favor, but yours. There's a process of how we go through to find these properties and identify what can be rent to own, there are no scams, we simply show you how to find rent to own homes on your own. Hi Sam. Thank you. It's all negotiable with a Rent To Own, it's not based on your credit, and the depending on how the Rent To Own is structured and set up, eviction may not be an issue. The key is finding the right property, and terms. Hope this helps.
When you're rent to own agreement, do you have to cost the house insurance and the property taxes? or that will be once you owned it?
Hi Shaddaira! I’m a licensed insurance agent and I actually ran into this same situation with one of my customers who is doing rent to own. She had water damage on her property. She had renters insurance but not home insurance which is for when you own the home. The company/person that owns the home is the one who has to get home insurance. You are not responsible for this except for your personal items in the home that you own which would be covered under renters insurance. Same goes for property tax. Hey im in the process of negation of rent to own and honestly idk what to watch out for or things to pic up on to be weary of ...... The owner is in another state and said they would take the home off the market for 300$ in earnest money that would go towards the deposit is that something I want to do??
Unless you've met this owner.. proved its the owner and seen the home then no you don't do that. Its a scam. Most owners do not live in another state.

So I believe I got scammed by a rent to own company called rent to own and they had me pay lexington law to help fix my credit and then they want me to pay 45 dollars just to see the homes available for rent
