She was asked once why she chose that time to end the show. She explained they were still having good ratings, but she wanted to go out while they were in a good place The story was left to take it's time to grow and in the end we all got the pay off. Pretty lady with smarts, awesome show with a fun talented cast.

She was asked once why she chose that time to end the show. She explained they were still having good ratings, but she wanted to go out while they were in a good place
The story was left to take it's time to grow and in the end we all got the pay off. She didn't want to be the guest that never left. Have show that stayed too long with dying ratings where the network finally pulled the plug. Pretty lady with smarts, awesome show with a fun talented cast.
Fran Dresser also had cancer in the last season. She probably needed time to heal from surgeries and treatment ect...
