I remember the days when I was the #1 ret pally on the server clearing Heroic ICC on 5%. I miss it so much. So many good times and being able to play without having real life responsiblities. :_)
I feel like raiding was genuinely easier back in retail wrath. People had more patience. They were way more welcoming. Tactics were well explained through chat so everyone had a minute to read it through in peace. And bosses went down one after one, nowadays the community is full of super-zoomer-boomers who think their last day on earth will be tomorrow so they got no time for someone doing 1k less dps or someone who isn't in discord? fucking booted.
Classic wotlk is the same as retail. But The thing is the technology is on another level now, the fights are 10 yrs+ old so you expect people to understand them when there is 10k different guides. Than you have weakauras that do 50% mechanics for you if you have your eyes open. The best strategies are known already, the best raidcomps, rotations and builds are calculated. People are expected to be better then ''back in retail wrath'' when its 80% easier to get the boss down. And discord is also mandatory unless you are doing dungeons or old content cuz people for some reason need to be told to not stand in flames, otherwise they will. And honestly idk whats so hard on connecting to server and just listening to RL. In conclusion, people just dont wanna spend 15 hrs in raid when it can be done in 4.
Hc is nice, but this is great to watch too. I started playing wotlk a few weeks ago and i love it. Will stick to Dungeons sadly, because i have no friends playing. Watching you do icc is fun though!
What I really love about Guzu, is that he uses addons, but he doesn't use as many as to completely alter the AI into something unrecognizable, and most importantly, YOU CAN STILL ACTUALLY SEE WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE GAME! I've seen so many addon ui's that cover like 60, 70% of the screen, how can anyone play like that?
I was 16 when I first did ICC, It was on Heroic. My older brothers guild brought me along because they're shaman wasn't available and I was playing a BM hunter with a Corehound, and they wanted the buff lol. I had Heroic lichking in full blue gear. Damn those are good memories.
Guzu you gotta stop forcing your voice to a lower pitch to sound more "manly". Historically, entertainers use higher pitch! No one cares about that fake low voice

Well u can find a friendly guild too no one off my Reallife friends plays wow anymore 😂 but look for a good guild and u will have way more fun :)
