Agree on the grouping, if you’re not doing an achievement “quest” then…who cares? No trading, no AH is the Solo rule. If you couldn’t group you wouldn’t be doing dungeons. Love the content Guzu.
Hey Guzu, when you're pulling an AOE pack in a group like this, one thing you can do is throw a rejuv on your melee party members before you regrowth and rejuv yourself, then you will get a nice chunk of healing aggro on the whole pack to start with and it makes it a little easier to manage. Using a mouseover macro for the rejuv makes it real nice too, you don't have to click on anyone =)
Or just put a skull on one and let the dps kill/tank it while your build aggro on the rest of the mobs..ez clap.. also make sure to tell the dps no aoe until skull is dead
@@vgullotta I don't know if I'd recommend tossing heals on melee party members AND yourself. At Level 24, Rejuvenation ticks for 45 health every 3 seconds. That works out to about 7.5 TPS. If you have three mobs in the pull, that is 2.5 TPS per mob. It has a cost of 105 Mana, so it's not worth the mana cost in exchange for the small amount of threat he'd receive. Additionally, threat is only generated when a party member is actually healed, which means if he IS holding aggro, those heals do nothing for his threat. The reality of tanking in Classic/Vanilla is that it is VERY difficult to hold aggro over a Mage doing AoE. It's difficult for all tanking classes, but especially difficult for Druids because they can't use Dynamite without exiting Bear Form, which spells doom for them, and their party. There's no possible way for a Druid to hold aggro over a Mage's AoE. A Mage causes, at minimum, 25 TPS with Blizzard and it hits every target in a certain radius - Swipe only hits 3 targets, and can miss, be dodged/parried. The only way to hold the aggro would be to either use dynamite or have them wait until you've done about 4-6 Swipes. At Level 31, you CAN use Oil of Immolation, which does cause 50 damage every 3 seconds to every mob within a certain radius. Also, when you get to 26+, a Paladin can use Blessing of Salvation to help. The only way to even have a chance of holding aggro right now (without the above-mentioned methods) is to be using Swipe and attacking the mobs while forming the pull, before any DPS/Heals come into combat.
All the clowns in twitch chat crying over him grouping up every now and then.. It's a self found run, not SOLO self found... And besides he can do literally whatever he wants to on his own character on his own stream xd
I love seeing him group up and doing some group stuff, what i dont like is when he overpowers his characters from items and professions donated from his subscribers.
I have tanked on druid all the way into Naxx phase 6, its awesome! Just gotta Farm a lot of pummlers and sometimes need to let a warrior MT a tricky boss, bit overall its doable with the right gear. Keep it up 😊
my recommendation while tanking, dont dump rage at end of a pull, once you know you have enough threat just stack rage for the next pull, dump alot on the pull for burst aggro, then slowly stack it again using as needed dont be afraid to ignore the main target for a while and just taunt maul it when it runs after a dps
Hey Guzu - enjoing the journey If you tank multiple targets focus first two attacks on swipe after that you can use demo roar. It is way more initial aggro since you get more rage to spend. When tanking 2 targets use maul after one initial swipe. It will help alot with threat
You’re gonna be spending a lot of time trying to get threat. Sometimes you just have to do your best impersonation of a speed bump. Taunt one, stun the next one you lose threat on, then taunt when off CD and run away from mobs that run away from you so you can charge them and stop them from moving. Maul is your best threat generator.
The addon people used for Hardcore back on Era provides challenge achievements on the way to 60, but official hardcore doesn’t have those, so he’s using the addon

I'm also playing druid tank, lvl 55 as of now. I've tank every dungeon up to sunken temple, druids are so good favorite class in classic and retail
If you go vs 2+ mobs go bear not cat, it takes the same time or faster than in a cat since you get shitload of rage.

There`s no SSF Buff. :) And it`s just a Self Found Buff and no you can`t lose it execpt you remove it at a special NPC.
