hard times makes us stronger. feel bad about your father mam Melanie. been watching your vlog lately. Im applying for a student visa for may intake and I'm going to SAIT for it is 1 of the 3 institutions who offers a certification course which is related to my work here in the Philippines. hope all goes well.
@@MelanieOnDemand thanks mam malanie. keep doing what you are doing your vlog is so informative more than any other vloggers (who's contents are about student pathway programs) in canada. hope I can meet you there soon. :)
hi ma'am! congrats on your graduation and getting the PR! I'm planning to apply to SAIT po sa Jan 2022 and upon doing some research, gusto ko po sana mag apply sa program na hindi same sa work experience. Do you think that I could find work kahit wala pa ako experience sa field na un? I heard that SAIT offers a lot of help for students to find work after graduating. took up BSc, in Pharmacy in PH, and planning to take up Mechanical Engineering technology in SAIT because I realized na mas hilig ko kasi ung Math and Physics than Chemistry, :D but I might consider Chemical Laboratory tech because of my background. Medyo worried lang din po with regards to finding a job afterwards since mas konti daw po openings for chemical related positions.
Depends on your program. Usually they do have breaks, if im not mistaken some are during winter sem. Ask your school for more appropriate answer. Good luck!
Use the Calgary Train Stations as basis. Look for affordable accommodations nearby the train stations coz that will make your life sooo much easier esp during winter. Factor in the commute time as well. You can either use rentfaster.ca, Kijiji or even FB marketplace. Just be careful who are dealing with. Good luck! 😉
Hello melanie.. Interested ako mag enroll ng 2 years automotive mechanic.. do you know how much money do I need to prepare for schooling in SAIT.. Thank you in advance
Thanks for this comment! Yes, i did switch to English for “most” of my videos. Not all though. Feel free to watch my English vlogs. I will update you once my English subtitles are up! 😁
Hello po maam melanie. We've sbeen watching all your vlogs and they've been very helpful. Please keep on helping fellow Filipinos amd more power! May pm nga po pala ako sa inyo and i hope u can respond and enlighten us more about the sp pathway opportunity. Maraming salamat po.

Hi Ms. Melanie, I’m planning to enroll at SAIT also next spring and currently researching for the best location to rent an apartment that is accessible to both SAIT and possible office of my owp (noc b 2172 data analyst). Can you recommend a convenient and safe neighborhood? Looking at hillhurst, crescent heights, etc
Mam i have planning to migrate Canada for study purpose. I select Sait College so please help me. I already completed my graduation in B.E Mechanical Engineering with first class give me some advice about related my field. Which field is best for Mechanical Engineering?
Hi Bhev! 20hrs maximum if the school is on-going. No limit during school holidays. Read more here: www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=495&top=15
Yes you can! It’s actually better while you’re still there so you can request for your school credentials personally. Just take note that ECA report expires after 5 years. 😊
Hi Melanie, first of all I would like to thank you for the detailed videos which you are sharing with us. I have a question, your 2 years diploma was postgraduate diploma? Were you already graduated or holding a MBA degree before you apply for this diploma. The reason I am asking this question is that I do have MBA (Business Administration) already from UK but if I apply for this 2 years diploma than do you think SAIT will reject my application however, my plan to obtain 2 years diploma in tourism and travel which was my working field. Kindly also advise how hard is to obtain the study permit and open work permit for my husband?
Hi there! I’m sorry for replying so late, your comment was marked as “Likely Spam”, i have no idea why. 😕 This is the exact program that I took: www.sait.ca/programs-and-courses/full-time-studies/diplomas/chemical-laboratory-technology I have a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, not masters. I earned that degree 10yrs ago. My reasoning why I took that diploma program is mostly on the refresher side of my chemistry knowledge. Since chemistry is rapidly evolving, I wanted to catch up especially with laboratory instrumentation and this tech program is focused with that. So its not a total upgrade but it supplemented my career goals. It’s all about reasoning and convincing the visa officer of your intention to study. You have to provide evidences to prove your point. We have different lines of work so I am probably not the best person to ask about your situation. But I hope my example give you some sort of clarity. Goodluck! ☺️

Hello, ask ko lang po kung required ang ielts upon application sa SAIT?
Depends on the program where you’ll apply. Generally, not required.
