Charlotte Fire Feature Friday: NCHART

CHARLOTTE FIRE FEATURE FRIDAY: Take flight with the Charlotte Fire Special Operations crew as we meet up with the North Carolina Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team (NCHART). NCHART is a highly specialized team consisting of N.C. National Guard and N.C. State Highway Patrol aircraft and aircrews matched with N.C. Emergency Management and local first responders form a mission-ready package for helicopter-based rescues. NCHART technician positions are chosen based on stringent prerequisite training and a rigorous physical fitness evaluation. Charlotte Fire has 19 NCHART technicians.
