Seeing SMG4 making another dark arg with one of his characters shows us how much he has impacted on story.
Dude, I literally had a theory that Niles was Zero from the start. At first I thought he was a jerk, and as time went on, I got suspicious. Eventually, the god box episode fully gave me proof that Niles is Zero. How? At the end of the episode, Niles mentions Melony’s boyfriend Axol. Does not seem as proof right? Expect, Melony never once told Niles about Axol. I mean this with all my heart, I started screaming zero the second we realize Niles is not real. I am so so pumped for the movie they are making. Too bad it is only 2 weeks away, but we can survive that long. I hope.

I’m actually quite hyped for the return here. And I’m pretty sure that “Niles”, as shown here, is probably how Zero originally looked before he became…that monstrosity we saw in the previous arc. Who knows? We might get to see more of his background in the upcoming movie. And as someone who was quite interested ever since he hinted at some kind of dark past, that’s quite exciting for me.

@@NotMyHandleAnymore after watching Revelations I would like to say I am extremely upset nobody else got offed. I think the cast should have stopped expanding after Tari. I think she was the last good addition. Everyone else feels like characters for the sake of characters.

I think it's genius how SMG4 used the fact that the cast kept expanding to his advantage. It gave Niles the perfect cover to blend in with the cast and fool everyone.

This is what I like about SMG4, while I do miss his older only meme videos, I also love how he implements humor into seriousness, and makes it work without it being unbalanced.
Balancing silly and serious is pretty difficult in my opinion, which is why I love it when people manage to pull it off really well.
In my opinion, the balance is broken. The seriousness and lore is there, but the humor is dumbed down and only the icing. Also, the humor isn’t really as funny as before.

This is going to be beyond interesting, including answers to some theories like is Axol really alive. I disagree with that theory, but knowing the creative capabilities of SMG4, going from all memes when I was young to full-blown arcs, anything could be true. Keep up the great work to all employees of the Glitch community!

1:55 That subtle switch from the Gmod animation of Niles nodding, to the borders on the screen sliding in and the more fluid animation of that new guy you took on board looks so cool.
I have to admit one of the my favorite parts was when Melony points to Niles and says "our friend there". We've been used to accept new characters as they immediately become part of the main team dynamics, so even if Niles didn't show up much, we might've been condition to accept him "oh, he's just part of Mario's group of crazy friends", making the twist quite interesting.

Being a Fan for years, I've seen almost every video on this channel. Most of the time a TH-cam Channel reaches it's best and then lacks of interesting content. Smg4 though makes it better ever single time. Glad to be part of this

Niles has went from "unlikable douchebag" to "kind of likable" as he's either really trying to help Melony or pretending to help her just to betray her, which I suppose is the purpose of the video.

When I first knew about Niles, I thought that in the future, Melony would struggle to decide about a future relationship with him, but I was NOT expecting him to be a villain in this arc. Probably should've, but didn't.
I am intrigued and for one, cannot wait for April 2nd. You've come a long way SMG4 Team, Don't let the Toxic Nostalgic Fans get to you or hold you back from your true potential and make this one of the Best SMG4 Movies
its so weird that you guys keep making memes implement them in your storys and try to make every episode somewhat funny, but in the end there will always be those chills going down my spine when theres this much lore.
I knew the Zero fight was way too easy for something seemingly that powerful but I did not expect Niles to not only be only within Melonys fractured mind(most likely due to Axols death) but in fact be Zeros essence. The dude didn't die he just jumped hosts.

My original running theory was that Niles was just Axol’s spirit guiding Melony, since Niles looks sort of like Axol/a humanoid axolotyl, but this was very unexpected. However I suppose my previous theory still has some merit, since Zero completely consumed Axol’s mind body & spirit & basically became a corrupted Axol, which could in turn create Niles look. Either way, excited to see some more conflict with Zero

When they mentioned the 'God Box', I started to suspect something was awry because of how little time they spent actually providing exposition for it (unlike the guardian pods in the Genesis Arc).
The pattern reminded me of something...

Can’t believe smg4 is going into meta territory. Everything that happened last year was so crazy, and I can’t believe they’re trying to top it. This is honestly one of favourite TH-cam shows, up there with hazbin hotel and helluva boss. Can’t wait for the 2nd!!!!

This has the potential to be the single greatest arc in all of SMG4. That twist with Niles was absolutely incredible, and I can't wait to see where this story goes in the movie.

I had a feeling about Niles from the start, but nothing like this! I should’ve seen his reference to Axol as Melony’s “fish boyfriend” as a red flag. A crimson flag even! I’m genuinely impressed by how SMG4 pulled the wool over our heads once again and created yet another twist

After being a fan of SMG4 for 10 years, after I saw the wotfi 2021..I already knew..Zero was unstoppable..and looks like I was right..he is unstoppable.but with the power of SMG4 and SMG3, I can assure you! This new arc, will be TERRIFIC! Keep up the good work Luke!!

This was such a surprising and cool plottwist. Love it. I didn't expect it at all and that is what makes it so great. Niles first being a bit of a bully, then friends with Melony, and then you get to know that the rest couldn't see him and that he's actually zero. Such a good build up in only a few episodes.

Here’s another plot twist. This arc, and the previous arc are named after the two halves of the Bible. The Book of Genesis, and the Book of Revelations. That means this arc is part two of the Genesis Arc, and Melony might be SMG4 Jesus.

Let’s be honest. SMG4 can make us laugh, but can also make a well written story with plenty of twists. I was not expecting that Niles twist
Yeah, so here is a theory of what I think will happen:
Basically, it will be like the shadow Mario sort of thing in WOTFI 2021, with Melony being Mario in this case. I expect the rap battle(If there is one) to be fast paced with all of the characters, The God box leader being one of them.

Niles had too much interest in Melony, if you think about it, Zero was defeated by her! My theory was that he would've wanted her as his next host and woe and behold, Niles showed up! I suspected him from the start even when he mentioned Axol, which she never mentioned at all! A little interesting he was just a figment of her imagination and not a real person, but that also proved my theory quite a bit. He leached himself onto her and focused as her teacher to have a worthy host for true physical power.

From funny videos and Mario bloopers, to sad stories permanent deaths and actual lore. This is how a kid grows up with their toys, and still uses them as a adult, they add more do more. And they make more.
Now that was a huge plot twist when seeing that Niles was actually Zero and he ended up possessing Melony. These arcs keep getting better and better, and I hope eventually Zero gets extinguished once and for all this time.

And hopefully they can bring axol back because at least I think with zero alive axol must be in there somewhere as he was last used as his vessel and we never see his body as he lay dying

I wonder if, when Ax0l grabbed Melody’s ankle in “SMG4: The Final Piece”, he planted a piece of his consciousness in Melony… in case he couldn’t escape imprisonment.

Niles was so weird at the end that i got scared
This was incredible just had to revisit before relevations
First the Genesis arc, now we come to Revelations. Truly perfect titles for a story of gods, demons, and higher powers
In a world where Mario humps spaghetti naked, we have deep stories and lore… idk it just seems odd to shift towards these arcs when something like that had came before
@curtando NS1 not evil, possessed. Remember, Zero is first and foremost a parasite. Without a host, the parasite is weak. If we could separate the parasite from the host body, Melony in this case, that would leave Zero vulnerable

Niles has 3 fingers and So does zero, they both have shown to have one eye.
And Niles seemed like a really suspicious person when he first appeared, mostly since he communicated with only melony 24/7 and also tried to get her attention, I honestly knew he had some type of correlation with zero but didn't expect him to BE zero.
Smg4…. Luke…. I’m talking to you. I’ve been on your channel for eons now…. From nearly the beginning of this close to 11 year journey you’ve taken. With every episode and especially every arc, you continue to surpass my expectations by strides at a time. From sm64 bloopers, stupid mario, if Mario was in, wotfi, the Meggy arc, bob arc, all of these we’re amazing and filled all of us with laughs and and smiles for years…. Then you started down the path towards evolution with the release of the waluigi arc… your first darker story… it was a surprisingly welcome change for your channel…. Then came the anime arc with our first character death followed by an eerie quiet… you took a deep dive into this zone and it paid off… soon after came the Meggy’s destiny movie which had a genuine goodbye to the character we lost… after that came the TH-cam arc where the story of smg4 really began to bloom into a universe of complexity… it was surprisingly dark yet well balanced… a story about a man who hated is counterpart so much that he was willing to completely erase him in order to assume control over everything his opposite built… then came a decade anniversary with a start to an arc that would truly change EVERYTHING… that arc was called genesis… this arc was a masterpiece. A brilliant dance of light and darkness that had me craving more and more up until the GREATEST WOTFI you’ve ever done with a cataclysmic plot unlike any other. It followed suits with a heartbreaking death and a chorus of sadness because even with the death of an evil and a universe saved, there still was no happy ending… now that same evil has returned and seeks to enter a world all too familiar to us all…. I am being perfectly and wholeheartedly honest when I say your potential keeps climbing and climbing and climbing showing no signs of stopping. This kind of potential is exceptionally rare among TH-camrs of both the past and present and that is something to take pride in. You have proven that your potential is as truly limitless as infinity itself. Continue to climb! We all will be watching. Thank you SMG4!!!

I’ll give SMG4 and the writers credit for not showing Niles directly interacting with any other character other than Melony this whole time. That’s some good attention to detail.
And damn that reveal. Had my doubts about Niles, a new character that isn’t funny wouldn’t be a “good” recurring character. Nevertheless, Zero has returned

@@nikala7401 I think based on the flashbacks that Melony had, showing that Niles was never real, I think it was all actually Melony doing those interactions, in one of the flashbacks Niles switches to Melony so I assume thats what was actually happening when other characters interacted with Niles..

Niles really must’ve been psychologically messing her. It’s kind of what @Geometry Craft said, Melony might’ve been doing some things that she thought Niles did. It’s SMG4. Not everything has to perfectly stick to the continuity

That was an epic unexpected twist. He never exsisted and it makes sense as except Melony, no character was seen talking to Niles in the Past Episodes. Also the portal which Melony opened was an exit to the Reality? Looks like the upcoming movie's gonna be really epic

@@sudarsanparida8679 its around the 40 second mark in all mario wants is absoute power. its only like 2 lines, but its definitely there. after mario protests kermits lunch policy, niles/0 joins in saying "hoo hoo yeah, you suck", kermit responds with "you dare challenge me?." but to be fair, kermit could have been talking to mario. if kermit can see him, that would be interesting.
@@yesno4989 I totally agree with you, & yes Kermit was talking to Mario only, as revealed that Niles was only Melony's imagination, so as he was saying "hoo hoo you suck" to both Mario & Kermit, they couldn't hear him
@@sudarsanparida8679 also, kinda a side note, but i think we can see a cameo of zeros true face in mario waits for the bus. every time we see zero, its face is either in shadow, or it is possesing someone. but in mario waits for the bus, we can see meggy throwing rocks at pictures of what looks like zero, but without axols gills or anything.

This episode showed how Niles was secretly Ø and it did that perfectly, not to mention it was actually an arc relating episode.
6:10 So I always thought the fact that SMG4 and SMG3 getting their power from memes- meaning they literally had to destroy memes to make them into energy- was a bit creepy especially with how some seemed more sentient than others.
I'm both glad and terrified that SMG4 made use of this.
It's getting harder and harder to realize that we have entered an arc, wow. Also knowing Smg4, we will definitely see Axol again, although most probably in spirit form.

@@deinemudda1049 Some of his Dialogue prior to the reveal sounded like he was awkwardly trying to flirt with Melony, which was a trait of Axol.
What's more, Axol was fused with Zero during the time Zero had saved a Piece of himself in Melony's weapon.

I assume he jumped in melody’s body starting out in the end of the arc continue to that one episode where melony kept seeing zero in her head after that he changes his plan to let melony get stronger while also getting her guard down
