And because its America they ALL drove a car to work... Ask the same question at a BMW dealer in Europe and you'll find a lot of "I took the train" or "i rode my bike"...
In our area, public transportation is much less common. In metropolitan areas across the US, you'll get more people taking trains/busses or biking.

Because in Europe having a car is a luxury..they cost too much and taking public transportation is more economical.

You can tell these people can't afford the money pits they're driving, maybe they got a good discount, instead of $1000/month they're only paying $950/month. 😆 I was waiting for that one dude that's smart with his money be like, "Bro I'm driving a 2000 Corolla 😎" whilst he's the only one not living paycheck to paycheck.
In future when I work at a dealership I'll drive a shitbox Toyota as a daily. And probably have 370z as a weekend car.
German cars are for those who can afford the maintenance.
