The past few days have been truly horrible and we're in for years more of it. Hell, we might have had the final nail in the coffin for climate change. Climate scientists just said we are guaranteed to hit 1.5C. Thank you Matt and Austin. I'm going to be watching so much This Is over the next few years.
I've watched approximately 3 This Is videos in the past week and in each of them Matt introduces something based around alcohol. Matt, are you okay? Everything alright at home? Is Austin abusing you?
I honestly loved this so much because even if you have the right answer, you can totally whiff it and suffer your own lack of skill. 10/10 gentlemen and effervescent Kinzy
Not-so-fun fact about The Noid: In 1989, a man named Ken Noid, who was suffering from severe schizophrenia, used a .357 magnum to take 2 Domino's employees hostage for over 5 hours in their store in Chamblee, Georgia, because his mental illness led him to believe that The Noid character was made specifically to make fun of him. Fortunately, no one ended up being hurt during the incident, and after the employees escaped after Noid became distracted by eating 2 pizzas that he forced the employees to make, he surrendered to police and spent time in a mental institution after being found guilty by reason of insanity.
some US states and jurisdictions have a "guilty but mentally insane" verdict which is distinctly different and treated separate from guilty and not guilty by insanity
@@autobotjazz1972 Mental health issues may not be taken as seriously as they should be now, and are still generally a joke in this country, but back then, they literally didn't exist as far as society was concerned; mental illness was basically a death sentence for anyone's normal life, and you never raised the subject in public or with media, EVER. So, yes, the judgment of "guilty by reason of insanity" was absolutely real, and very often given as a sentence back then. Just because you've got to be younger than 35, and that it's much less of a thing now, doesn't mean it never happened at all, you fucking moron. It's fucktards like YOU that show the rest of us just how goddamned stupid Gen Z are, and why this world is absolutely fucked when you eventually take over.
You have it backwards. One reason so many places, fast food in particular, sell Coke and not Pepsi is because Pepsi owned food chains. So places like McD's & BK didn't want to sell Pepsi because they were seen as the competition. Also, at one time Coke would sell food places their products for basically free, during the cola wars to "increase" their sales numbers because they where losing to Pepsi.
1 point for guessing right. 1 point for having the ball land in the right cup. BONUS POINT for sinking the ball in what you actually guessed for a possible total of 3 points. OR you can give the bonus point only if they guess right AND sink right. Cuz now I'm hating the idea for getting two points in scenarios when you've guessed wrong lol.
That thing about Machine Gun Kelly being reborn as a sh*tty punk-rock-rapper actually makes sense. They have so much in common, like they're both posers and nobody takes them seriously. And some historical fact: The last execution by guillotine in France was carried out in the same year that the first Star Wars movie was released. And the second-to-last person to be executed by guillotine in France was most likely innocent.
As a central NY'er it's cool to see Matt on here, in fact he graduated from the same college as my cousins did lol. But that Genesee beer shirt needs to be traded in for a Saranac Brewery shirt, and a Utica Club hat ;)
Walt actually had someone go and buy the land for him because he was worried that they wouldn’t sell it to him or would charge him too much for it. So his business partner bought the land for ridiculously cheap and Walt created what we call Disney World today.
From the tips of your thumb/forefinger to your elbow has to be one solid structure and the only thing moving is your elbow until you release. Have to admit I would've guess the first webserver was far older than that. My first contact with the internet was in when I started studying at university 1994 and by then the web already seemed fairly established (relatively speaking, obviously it was nothing like what it is today), would never had guessed it was that new and that it had grown that fast.
Well yes and no on wikipedia. No they dont currently need donations. Yes, they can survive without your donations, which was not always the case. However, yes they are a non-profit. Your donations go to mostly staffing and like any business and their expenses rise, especially as they grow. So donations are appreciated, like a you-tuber who has already succeeded, as it allows for future investments and growth. So donate, don't donate their fund raising is once a year for a short time. Otherwise, we all really appreciate wikipedia and what it has grown into today... thanks to those who donated to get it to this place today! ❤
I feel like like Kinsie had a decent idea, but forgot how those 2 suck at any and all games... Maybe next time try giving them some choice of answers and some lifelines like who wants to be a millionaire
Smoking Sections in restaurants actually came later... it was even worse before that, with smoking being allowed in the entire restaurant, or rather: in every single publicly accessible building, inlcuding(!) hospitals. There was no fuckin escape from those egotistical assholes who made it so that I literally couldn't breathe anymore... only choice was to completely avoid any public buildings and any public gatherings altogether, until regulators finally(!!!) got their bloody act together...
Okay if you're ever in This Is comments sections you know I'm always positive but Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is NOT about the Manson murders. It is about DiCaprio ridiculous accent shenanigans as he runs around LA crying about his rich guy problems while Sharon Tate puts her feet in front of the camera and has no agency as a character. Then there's like 5 minutes of Manson stuff at the end. Brad Pitt at the Manson compound should have been the whole movie. It is easily Tarantino's worst film and a complete disappointment to explore any of the themes it set up. And a slap in the face of fans of the best Tarantink movie, Inglourious Basterds, which literally ends with a swastika being carved into someone's head like, you know, Charles Manson (in person). This movie does absolutely nothing to live up to its predecessor. And it makes Bruce Lee look like a joke.
There are three decent Tarantino movies: Reservoir Dogs, Django Unchained and Inglorious Basterds. The rest is garbage, atleast the stuff he directed himself. Natural Born Killers, From Dusk Till Dawn and True Romance are Tarantino's best movies in my oppinion.
13:24 is anybody going to tell me it's not a Dodge Ram no more it's just a ram how long are affiliated with Dodge are we just going to let him continue looking dumb big head big brain no knowlede of well known facts
I've never really realized how much I rely on TH-cam to take my mind off stressful things in life for a bit of a "reality break". Thank you

Yes, Kinsey!! Great idea and execution! Hope to see more of your creativity shine!
Sounds like Matt has already partaken in the contents of the cups
Maybe the ping pong part can get a little bit of polish, but I loved hearing about all the dates and things- this was a fabulous episode

Not guilty by reason of Insanity, you cannot be found guilty in the us due to mental illness.
