I thought you would start with Islamic understanding of salvation, if at all it exists.
The Christian mainstream understanding is God loved us and created us in his image to know Him and love Him. It was Satan who tempted Eve. There is no confusion there for Christians. In Gen 3:15 God holds Satan (serpent) accountable and reveals his impending punishment.
Why is it considered a sin? because Adam disobeyed the explicit "But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat. For in what day soever thou shalt eat of it, thou shalt die the death." . This command was BEFORE and not AFTER he ate.
I am not sure if you are biased intentionally or just plain ignorant of the depth of scripture or you are just preparing to position the Islamic understanding.. but I stopped watching while you were making your second point.
