    I want to know if my machine has 10kg pressure then how many kg setting should I do

    • @MarineEngineeringHub
      @MarineEngineeringHub  ปีที่แล้ว

      For relief valve it will be 10percentage of the setting if 10 bar is pressure the relief valve lifting will be 11 bar

    Bro what's this winged valve?? Do u have any photo of it?? To understand the operation of it better??

    • @MarineEngineeringHub
      @MarineEngineeringHub  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In the ordinary valve picture I have shown the wing valve !!!!
      Basically it was attached to guide the valve moment but later discarded due to flow restrictions!!!!
      I hope you understand!!!!

    Please explain why two safety valve in boiler ? This is mmd question please explain

    • @mohamednavithimrant1473
      @mohamednavithimrant1473 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      One safety vlave will work at above 3% max working pressure and other one will work below working pressure of boiler say .
      Your working pressure is 80kg/cm²
      Then 1 st valve will lift at 82.4kg/cm²
      And other will open at 79 kg/cm²

  • @Arjit90270
    @Arjit90270 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Means that safety valve will lift first and after that if it fails relief valve will lift

    • @MarineEngineeringHub
      @MarineEngineeringHub  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Arjit,
      Safety valve is provided in boiler
      Relief valve provided in pumps
      Both function are different

    if the valve lift is D/4 then why the improved lift safety valve is D/12 & high lift safety valve is D/24.

    • @MarineEngineeringHub
      @MarineEngineeringHub  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      High lift was earlier design then comes improve high lift and then full lift so as per design evolution the lift was improved!!!!
