I've covered almost every pixel of the Animated Pikmin Short Movies across my channel up to this point. But there's one element I've yet to discuss - Shigeru Miyamoto's original storyboard doodles using Flipnote Studio for the Nintendo DS! And with it, reveal many of the subtle and giant changes through the process. From minor adaptations and tweaks to entire storyline changes, here is the unused content and behind the scenes footage of the Animated Pikmin Short Movies!

@@bigbadgammagnome Yeah and it gets even more obvious that it’s not a racism joke when you realize that blue and yellow are laughing at red looking wavy in the bottle.
And the final nail in the coffin is that when another red Pikmin comes he starts laughing at red too. So yeah this is definitely not a racism joke.

it would be bloated as hell if it was all 3 in one movie, but i have always dreamt of a very atmospheric mostly silent film based on the first game, olimar is mostly nonverbal, and its a bit reminiscent of Alien 1979 or 2001: A Space Odyssey in certian parts. I think that kind of 70s space scifi fits really well.

The Pikmin short movies should be on the Nintendo Switch already! It would give Pikmin fans something on the Switch, and it just makes sense. The 3DS version has low-quality visuals, but is portable, the Wii U version has high-quality visuals, but is not portable. With the Switch it's the best of both worlds, you can view it with high-quality visuals both on the go and on the TV!
