I so agree that what starts as a small activity can become a habit. When very depressed at one stage of my life a friend suggested writing down 5 things each day to be grateful for. Now, when I wake up or once I have switched off the alarm, I take sfew moments to count 5 blessings. It starts the day positively.
Yeah it's something I have been reflecting on recently and found that to be true in so many aspecta of life. Too many times we want to just get "there" or "make it" but don't even know what that means
I can't explain how grateful I am for you and your videos! I started playing with the concept of minimalism at 15-16, but I didn't understand it because of how it was portrayed on TH-cam. It was all about counting possessions, white rooms, lack and deprivation etc. It didn't sit well with me (my TH-cam channel blew up because of a minimalist transformation video I uploaded for myself - went on vacation w/o internet and 2 weeks later I had 400 000 views). But now I feel I *understand it* and it could bring me so much joy and peace in life :D
So happy to hear this ❤ Yeah minimalism can be much more than the idea people usually have of it, it's up to you to decide how you want to implement the less is more mindset 😊 All the best! 🌱

Ooh, I've never been this early! I.was planning on doing a no-buy month, buy I think I'll start instead with the 7-day declutter challenge 🤓 greetings from Papua New Guinea 😊
@DNA350ppm hi! 🙋🏽 What's the weather like in Sweden at the moment? We have just started our wet season so it rains pretty much every day for the next few months 🌧️🤓
I am planning a no buy year next year. I've watched loads of videos and read about it and i also need to reduce my debt. Would like to get this down by £1k by this time next year.
Im currently still living in my parents house so its hard to live my minimalist lifestyle with them not living the same way. In 2 years ill be moving out and im pretty excited because ill be able to do all these no buy challenges and imply these rules for my own life. :)
Hello Seve ! Your recordings are gems ❤. First, I love when you shoot your videos outside👌. And second, your content is truly inspiring. Keep going 💪🏻! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦 PS : that blue sweater looks amazing on you 😎.
Thank you! Yeah usually this time of the year it's snowy here so filming outside is hard but that day it all melted giving me the opportunity to go out 😊 During summer it's much easier, as a Canadian you probably get it haha 😄
Thanks you for simplifying so much with such clarity - being on lifes path means we come across many experiences - your clarity of expression has shown me what is stagnant in my life at the moment and more importantly, shown me a way to move forward in a way that I can do - thanks a lot!
I'm always happy when I see that you've uploaded a new post. I really appreciate your videos: content wise as well as visually =) thanks for the reminders. I am back in the game of getting used to in small habits like at the beginning of the year. It's always a journey, back and forth. Thanks for your support on our journey =)
This is one of your best videos so far!!! Congratulations👑💎💎!! There are so many great ideas and easily accessible steps one can take all in one place and I cannot wait to apply them and share this video with others. Keep up the good work. You have truly found your purpose in service to others. 💕🇨🇦
A comment on meditation: People often start out clearing the mind of distractions then give up because they feel like they’re not accomplishing much. Say when you start you can only do this for 15 or twenty seconds at a time-That’s a good start and after a time you can clear your mind for 30 or 40 seconds. That’s WONDERFUL your mind is gaining power over clutter! It’s like training for a marathon. You are strengthening your meditation muscles. Then one day you are amazed at the real power your mind has to free itself and be at peace.
Initially humans used to change locations in search of food being hunter-gatherers. Later they started settling with the invention & advent of agriculture. Now humans are fascinated by being a nomad again. Quite interesting.

I love the idea of getting rid of fixed destinations. That is a new idea.

I am doing digital detox week currently, set a target of using my phone 50% of previous week.
That's a great tangible target, well done! 🌿 Hope you'll achieve it

Well said and so true! Need to start small 😊
Hi Seve, thank you for your lovely 'feelgood' videos. Sorry if this is a bit personal but you'd look even younger and cuter without a tash.

Having just spent £450 on new specs 🤓 I need a "no buy month" i think 😂
