I love that Vox is a huge hypocrite and didn’t follow his own advice he JUST gave to Valentino about “doing nothing”. He gave Alastor exactly what he wanted
An often-overlooked detail is that Alastor's final solo after Vox crashes is a parody of Vox's solo opening to the song, which he delivered _before_ he started broadcasting, just to himself and his flunkies- yet Alastor knew about it anyway and used it to taunt him. This tells you that Vox isn't even _remotely_ in Alastor's league and never had a chance from the start.
After watching the entire first season. I can understand why my brother would call this radio killed the video star. Instead of video killed the radio star. And that ending just gives major goosebumps.
1:58 I love this shot. While it looks like Alastor is overwhelmed by Vox, most of the colour is Alastor's Reds, with only small splashes of Vox's Blues. Even if Vox and Alastor are equals, Vox spends so much of his energy on bombastic displays, while Alastor only uses what he needs to get his point across.
